    n more adorable cats. the one song is translated basically. kolaveri di means why the rage? why the anger? in the tamil dialect, but some others have adapted the song to their dialects as well.

    What stigma Nirmal – being caring and decent? 😉 Oh I forgot, that seems to be a rarity these days *she said cynically*. Case in point, our busses/subway has certain seats designated for eg older peeps, pregnant women, peeps with challenges, etc. On bus ride home today one of these seats was taken by a kid no more than 14 while an elderly lady was left standing. As I was getting off bus I told him that he could get up and offer lady his seat. Which he did. Lady was thankful and told me kid looked rough. I told her I didn’t care he was for sure badly brought up. End of story.

    lol that we r crazy. omg yes decency and caring ARE rare. its sad. this is why to be honest, i would like facebook if it was only feeled with you know, normal people, but the amount of scumbags there is too much for me, and the idea that chances are ull be indirectly connected to some serious scumbag just puts me way off. n in real life society, holy crap. people are just…beasts. whether i was in pa or here, or anywhere, walking around i see such disgusting stuff. im so sick of the human race in general, really. thank god cats dont change or lose morality. they just stay cats. but im glad that we have a nice place here.

    Greeting TDKers. Seeing as your tomorrow is my today then it must be Butterfly Day. Very appropriate as one of my chrysalis will hatch today judging by the colour of it. I also have a caterpillar contemplating going into a chrysalis right now.
    Tropical Cyclones the equivalent of your hurricanes have been named here for a long time. I believe the name comes from the region the TC develops in and now they include male names too.

    At the moment we have TC Lusi bearing down on us, the last I heard it was a category 3 TC. Battening down the hatches.

    Stay safe, Moonshadow: named or not, cyclones are nothing to take lightly! Also, I’m with Nirmal, would love to see pics of your chrysalis/butterflies.
    and KJ, good for you for teaching that 14 year old a better way to behave: he obviously didn’t learn it at home but maybe he will know better next time now thanks to you…

    Welcome back from vacation to warmer climes PC!

    Happy “Learn About Butterflies Day” MS – considering you’re doing it first-hand. Want to see pics too! When I was kid we used to call them flutter-byes, also works LOL.

    Suppose St. Paddy’s Day is celebrated big time in IE. Here we have a parade on the Sunday (although they predict snowstorm not sure how that would work out), with floats from different groups, Queen and her Court and all that. Nice that Queen gets chosen based on her smarts as opposed to looks alone. I think her prize is trip to Ireland. Not to worry, Café will be celebrating too! 😉
