Good morning all.
Only just managed to get to my puter. Had an eye test earlier and my eyes are dilated and I can’t see very well with sun glasses on.
PG, Oh my 😯 😆 on the cereal killer.
Oh LilBit, stuck in the garage. Was it at least interesting with stuff to explore until you were released.
JK, love the cat shadow pic. Reminds me of the…[Read more]

Good old Snagglepuss.
Great story of how you and your sister got your cats PG.
KZ, yuk, high humidity. Our days of that were not all that long ago, our Summer continued well in to Autumn and then suddenly Winter happened.
Oh how wonderful watching the Baltimore Oriole nesting and now the babies fledged. Oops Harvest ! Gilbert ! naughty boys.…[Read more]
JJ, sitting outside with lemonade with flittering birds around you. I am enjoying your description at the moment as it rains yet again. It is one of those cold wet temperatures that you feel in your bones here but the fire is going, ticking over slowly while the aroma from dinner is just making itself known. Lunch time now.
One loaded chili con carne in the Le Creuset and sitting on top of the fire box. My version of a Winter slow cooker.
I am surprised at the small number of posts the last few days and wonder if people are having trouble with the site. I know I have been but KJ has let Kittermaster know.
Shadz almost had a namesake at friends of KK’s in Canada…[Read more]
Good morning all from a cold, wet and dark Winters morning. I am considering lighting the fire soon and that leads me on to possibly cooking tonight’s dinneer on top of it. Mmmmmmmmmmm warmth and cooking food.
JJ, love your Dad’s loves. 🙂
Seems we all come from families where Dad loves cats, I guess we learned by their actions, isn’t that how…[Read more]
MMMMMM Broccoli. Lagatta did your Nadja eat it raw or cooked.
Mmmmmm Avocado, although they cost n arm and a leg here at the moment. $6 each and I live in an avocado growing area.
Breakfast time here, bacon and the last of the avocado’s I bought when the price was reasonable and keep in the fridge to slow ripening.
LOL, at Mawm the cabbage had babies. 😆 😆
We went to the National Agricultural Field Days today and I am knackered. Walked over 9km in my heavy farm boots and am so glad to sit down now. Mr MS made a dent in the business account buying tools and is happily playing with them now. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and got to spent the day…[Read more]
PM, i love that theory about something only being good for us if we hated it. There have been so many things over the years I was told were “good for me” but were totally disgusting. The only thing I liked that was ‘good for me’ was the spoonful of malt extract we were given when I was recovering at a Health Camp from having my tonsils removed as…[Read more]
KJ, I love it and now I remember talk about platform beds etc. Gosh my mind must be fuzzy from this weeks illness. It may not be as much work as you imagine. Our girls had slat beds with either metal or wood frames when they were at university and they moved many times. It’s just a matter of having Allen keys or a screwdriver and time and…[Read more]
4.8 seconds of fun ! I can just imagine it JJ. Sounds about right for a cat, especially one being watched.
I was just chatting with KK about lemons and wished I could buy just the lemon from lemon pepper. She said “can’t you make it” Well DUH ! Did a bit of searching and voila ! I can make my own lemon powder. All I need is lemons, an oven or…[Read more]
Good afternoon. I am feeling so much better today but still tire quickly.
KJ, LOL, it took me a while to spot the child lapping up the milk too.
I just can’t drink goats milk, I’ve been around wild as well as domestic goats and the wild billies absolutely reek(gag), they spray themselves with their own urine to smell attractive to the females. I…[Read more]
Lagatta, Humans 2018 in NZ is 4,747,447. We are small, but we are fierce. (apologies to Shakespeare)

Between 2012 and 2017:
