Good morning Littermates, it’s a blustery day here with rain getting closer and HRH has decided that today she will race around in the wind with her tail in the air. Her fur is ruffling up in all directions and she seems to be loving it, I suppose it is like a dog that hangs it’s head from the window of a moving car.
JK, let me guess, you love Autumn, great pictures especially when we are at the opposite season with blossom(if it hasn’t blown away) and tiny fruits budding on the trees.
I can see pictures today and avatars which is great.

Hey there MS! Running around with the wind in your tail sounds like great fun! I think fall is beautiful, but I don’t like where it heads – would rather see blossoms on trees and new growth poking up from the ground.

KJ, thanks for the info on posting to an Update. I left a message on Cocoelvin’s page. And thanks for the emergency vet link, Jeankit, I left that as well.
I tried logging in from my tablet and it worked! Had to answer a couple of math questions (luckily they were easy :)) and the avatars were a little slower but did come up eventually. Came back to the laptop though; it’s easier to type and post with a bigger keyboard

Hi Joan! Hi Moonshadow! Wind in his tail (or face) just makes my Jesse put his ears back and bolt back inside…If I was a dog though, I’d have my head out the window!

Hi Buttons! I love drying clothes on the line, they smell so fresh. It’s so breezy here today they’d dry in a flash. Sunny though, so can’t complain.

Adopted Pit Bull Fights Off Coyotes to Save His Kitty Friend

They were brought together by second chances; now Kitty has a third, thanks to Jack.

“He probably feels like he’s the caretaker. He checks on her every day and sniffs her, seeing what kind of shape she is in,” said Sherree Lewis.

The two are family pets, and both were rescues. Lewis watches her son Peter’s dog while Peter is deployed in Afghanistan.

“As I was walking to the door, I could see the coyotes over here,” she pointed out. It happened in an instant at the Seminole neighborhood. “One had her by the neck and the other had her by the tail,” she recalled.

Two coyotes had Kitty and were shaking her violently, but Jack was ready for a fight.

“I didn’t know Jack could run that fast. He was on them so fast,” she said.

Jack got the coyotes to drop Kitty and she was rushed to a vet.

“She can’t walk yet, but she is getting there,” said Lewis.

Kitty has a broken tooth and is being treated for brain swelling.

“He likes other dogs he wouldn’t have done that if there were dogs out there. It was like he knew the difference,” she said.

Jack now stands guard on the lookout for the coyotes to return, and never leaving the side of his best friend.

“Jack is a hero. He saved the kitty’s life and he just shows how good dogs can be. Big dogs can protect you, especially if something like this happens,” she said.

Hi all, after a nasty heavy fall of rain shot through and the wind got even more gusty HRH has decided that inside is the place to be. She is tucked up beside me bathing before doing the cat sleep thing.

ah the wind got too much for her 🙂

I love the fresh smell too PC especially on the bed clothes… but here in Ireland you have to be careful when you leave your washing out on the line cause the local farmer could be spreading slurry 😀

they your sheets don’t smell too fresh.. but its the joys of country living.. well I’m gona hit the sack guys I’ll try and pop in again tomorrow,,

    sweet dreams everyone

Have a good nite Buttons! I would love to hang clothes on the line, but my lack of a yard/balcony makes this an impossibility. City girl here. I do have a stand rigged for flat drying hand knits (not going to ruin something I worked on for hours), other than that it’s the M/W/D route for me.

Hi! Just testing to see if I can post. Looks like I can. My access to TDK has been spotty since the change. Hope everyone is well!

Hi Jcat, saw you’re online but your post was blank, it just said “this reply was modified”. How are you doing this evening?

Hi all – TDK seems ok on my computer, but a few bugs on the kindle. I can’t see avatars, but sometimes I can when I refresh the page. The margins are better too. And Jcat, I am guessing you are editing your last post??
All in all, we are getting there!

Hi, Prairiecat, just eating my lunch here! I am fine but sad, as a dear friend succumbed to cancer a day or so ago and though it was a blessed relief, very selfishly I will miss her very much. She was a lovely person.
Yes, I read about Cocoelvin in the first page of the Cafe and then went chasing off trying to find the thread and couldn’t — I should just have kept on reading the Cafe thread, as the next page told me how to find her. I hope she gets her kitten to a vet, green vomit could be anything but not eating and being sleepy are definite danger signs (and so is the vomiting if it continues, she will get dehydrated). How are you tonight?

Hi, Joan, yep, getting there. I am using Firefox/Mozilla for TDK now, instead of my default (IE browser) and it is a LOT faster.
BTW, I often keep logged in to TDK during the day so I can check in fast but it doesn’t mean I’m actually in the chat room so if you see my profile but I don’t respond ever, it probably just means I’m working or elsewhere and though I’m logged in, I haven’t checked in, so I’m not ignoring anyone! Would hate anybody to think that!

Does anyone know how to refresh the page in Mozilla Firefox? she asked plaintively…

I’m doing well Jcat. My sympathy on the loss of your friend and I don’t think you’re selfish at all. You can be glad she’s out of pain and at peace and still miss the heck out of her. The heart has room for many feelings, sometimes all at once.
Joan, I still have missing margins (you’re “m New Jersey”), but I can see the avatars, and the site seems to be getting more and more stable. Also starting to see more familiar names showing up, even if not posting yet (hi Leeny!)
