I for one have never named my car. My bff’s dad had a Model T named Clara. Ed and Clara traveled the country to various car shows, while wife Eleanore was purrfectly happy back home!

My Sonata is named Diana after the Roman goddess. It’s a long story. 😛

Since cats don’t have cars to name, here’s some random pics of cats in cars:

    Last my Steelers lost…again. 😡

Today, I’ve got appointments and things so I’ll be running around.

    Have a happy~

My first car was called Myrtle, her previous owner called her that because she hurtled along, pretty good for a Mini 850cc. She was red with gold side racing stripes. Various other cars we have had have been Tina the Ford Cortina, WooHoo the Honda Accord that was destroyed by a runaway car while parked in our driveway, BiFF the Mazda, EsZie the Honda and Zola the truck. We haven’t thought of a name for the housebus.
I know you are thinking about it.

JJ, Positive Vibes for your search for a Mom friendly rehab facility and that the surgery is trouble free.
I’ve spent the last coupe of days waiting for delivery trucks bringing daughters new kitchen, hot water cylinder and solar power stuff for the hot water. What fun when you find the cylinder won’t fit in the basement easily but we managed it eventually.
I hadn’t seen Tinker for a number of days, we must have become boring to her but she turned up this morning to day hello, gent;y purr – first time we’ve heard her purring- and then she was off. She is becoming quite an independent wee girl.
    Have a good day PG.

Love the names of your cars MS, quite creative too btw! 😆 I’ve never really come up with a name that fit my car so I haven’t done it. Be safe running around to appointments today PG in Diana!

I need to go to the Health Dept. and pick up a copy with stamped seal of my birth certificate. I thought I knew where it was, but when I looked, it wasn’t there. Easier to go pick one up. In order to be able to travel (using passports or enter government buildings) we have to provide 3 or 4 proofs of who we are so we get a little ‘star’ on our drivers licenses. This means voting too. And the BMV says they don’t know WHICH government buildings either but the Federal government will let them know eventually which ones you can enter at some point if you don’t get the star– you won’t be able to fly on any airplane without it either. 😡 *gets off soapbox*

Moonshadow has great car names. Love Myrtle. How about Gus the bus?

I’ve never owned or driven a car, but one of my bicycles was named Graziella, simply because she was graceful. My current (old Raleigh Sprite) bicycle is named Miep, after Miep Gies, the chief helper to the Frank family in Amsterdam. Firstly because she ran all her errands on her trusty bicycle (and was lucky that it wasn’t confiscated by the occupiers) but secondly because she lived to be 100 and spent much of her time talking to school groups about the evils of racism and discrimination.

My car we call Kia, cause she is one.

Dau drives a red Mazda that we named Ruby …. SIL drives Clifford, a big red truck.

A good day for Dau – confirmed her job offer at TGH, got approved for an apt. And got clear to take her RN boards!! Exciting changes in their lives! SIL and Son are driving their things down from Delaware and should be able to move directly in apt! Saves having to rent storage. A great day!!

JJ, hope that your Mom’s surgery went well and that you have gotten her rehab situation sorted out.

No car or driver here either, but some time back a friend and I used to call her car “The Green Hornet” ’cause it was green – ya think?

Holidays over and I’m all mixed up as to what day it is! We had our provincial elections last night and I’m OK with the results, but we’ll see what the incumbent Premier does re follow-through.

And after all the back/forth paint colour emails landlord is leaving choice up to me. I think that I found something nice, it’s called “Garlic Clove” a lovely off-white, but I’ll get the painter’s input as well. Not looking forward to painters being here and all, but I’ll be happier once it’s done. And plan to do this towards end Nov.

Thanks so much PG and JJ for taking care of the Café so pawsomely throughout my holidays!

Dorry felt that a wee gift was in order. The fact that he is indoors only troubles him not at all as it’s “virtual”. The fact that I told him that the grrrls might not apurreciate a mouse troubles him not at all – I could not dissuade him! I hope it escapes before it gets to the wormhole!

Lol @Lagatta! Our cars get baptized daily with the sprinklers!

So, I went to Son’s today to feed his crew, and Luna was proudly sitting in front of her recent kill … a small gecko that must have sweaked in thru the cat door …. she would not move until we had all acknowledged her prowness …. too cute!
