Moonshadow 17 November 2000 – 24 April 2018
Moonshadow – aka HRH Shadz, Shadow, Bubby, Bubbles, Blossom and in Winter Butterball has crossed the Rainbow Bridge to the Meadow.
KK said that Dara would be waiting to welcome her to the Meadow as would our previous cats Whitefoots, Monty, Nicky, Smudge and Sharp.
We have had 17 wonderful years with Shadz, laughter and tears, mice in the house(way too often) and feathers on the door mat(occasionally). She was the first family pet who was younger than the girls.
Her passing was peaceful at the same vet practice who knew her as a wee rescue kitten before we got her.
Lots of bittersweet tears here but we know that her health was such that she would have had a hard time with the oncoming Winter.
She will be buried on the property and is resting in a casket on her favourite rain drying towel that we played bullfighters OLE! with.
She also has her favourite toy mouse Scrag in her paws for games in the Meadow. Scrag the mouse sweetie ! !

Be still my racing heart! ! A mouse trap just went off in the other room scaring the heck out of me. Is HRH Shadz just letting me know she has arrived at the Meadow and mouse shenanigans have begun?
