Morning all! …. sending heaps of positive energy and prayers for your Dau Deb! …..

Well, it’s back to reality after a wonderful birthday yesterday! …. Mr. AV took me to lunch, played around a the Casino for a while … won $200, then Dau and I got the full mani/pedi treatment at our fav local spa, while sipping wine *sighs* it was a great day!

Son got a fantastic job offer he was waiting to hear on, so it looks like he’ll be packing and moving to Las Vegas in the next couple of weeks! … Mr. AV will be flying up to NY to bring his girls back home, as they will live with us for the next couple of months until Son gets this new job up and running, and then figures out where they will base him out of – most likely the east coast, could be Tampa 🙂

Emily and Eko finally turned the corner yesterday and things are almost back to normal between the cats. I may even leave all the doors open when I go clean easy condo today. They are probably okay without supervision. They usually sleep the whole time we’re gone anyways.

I bought some fresh local honey at the flea market the other day. He had 2 kinds, and let me sample each before buying. He was also selling honey still in the combs, but I chose the convenience of having it in a jar.
It is sunny and cool with a nice breeze here in Jersey. The crickets that buzz when the sun heats up the air were pretty quiet earlier, hearing them a bit more now.
My NY Giants were outplayed in the final minute of the game last night, losing by 1 point. Bummer.
Hung a fitted sheet across the dining room chairs last night, giving Comet a wonderful fort!

I took a ride to the Health Food Store for cat food this afternoon. I went the pretty scenic route. What a beautiful day it was too!
Tonight I heard the barred owl again. He says…. “”Who cooks for you, who cooks for you”… adorable.
