Friday 21-09-2018 – World Gratitude Day

This Special Day originated in 1965 at the International East-West Center in Hawaii, during a Thanksgiving Dinner. Attendees pledged to hold a Gratitude Gathering the following September 21st in their home countries. This became an annual event.

It was another nice day and the weekend is looking good, too. Our morning temps. will be around 50f/10c.

I think this is too cute!PG, this is too cute! I feel so sorry for this kitty.His sulking would have me wrapped around his paw – but he still probably would not get pizza. Dorry has never had any hoomin food, so he might not know what he might or might not be missing.
Did you get your windshield fixed? Hope so. Is it illegal to drive if its cracked?
I’m still dickering around with landlord re paining decisions. He doesn’t seem to “get” certain things. But had a good laugh with painter who concurred that “all” landlords are in essence jerks. Plus everything has to gt approval from actual landlord who lives in Greece, ergo time difference.
But, seems protest at gym worked, as starting next week our Thursday 9 am spin class is back! Oe of my other reg instructors is teaching, which I could have told them was prob in the first place, the other instructor was too complicated for most of the class, ‘cept KJ! 😉
And on QT I have it that there will still be Tues am class as per now. Think they were going to cut it to save $$$, but there was a slightly earlier one that I could have done.
Nothing like a good protest, involving emails and purrsonal visits to mgmt to get my blood coursing! And yes. I’m grateful! 🙂

Yay ! It’s Saturday – well it is here. It is also Cherry Blossom festival day locally and the day has dawned grey and slightly wet. 🙁 On the up side the cherry blossom is stunning and at peak perfectness.
Tinker Diaries – This morning I discovered that she LIKES catnip. I bought a plant and broke off a leaf to see if she was attracted or repelled by it. Woohoo she liked it and I had trouble getting it off her before she ate it. I wiped the crushed leaf over the cat toy she plays with and she was happy with the smell. I will grow the plant and give dried leaves to her parents to use at their discretion.
Oh the poor pizza cat, it just breaks my heart to look at it, all his hopes and dreams of a nibble of pizza cruelly dashed. Mama mia ! ! 😥
My sinus’s and a blocked ear are applying pressure to one side of my face setting my teeth on edge – ouch, and my cough is is making my wheeze like a holed bellows so I am taking today easy.
