Kitty with no name is beautiful. How about ‘Precious’
dollymk I was going to say PRECIOUS too!
Precious is a great name!
Yup, Precious is a great name for her. She’s beautiful! Isn’t amazing how loud they can scream when they’re so tiny? A good survival technique: “Hey, someone come and get me!”
Hello Kitten Little! Aren’t you the most precious thing I have seen in ages? Good thing you got a good set of lungs on you baby girl 🙂
What a little sweetie. If Mom was going to abandon her, I’m glad she left her baby in a house with such nice people. Take care of this little gift!
Attic FUZZ
Shout the house down FUZZ
Hello Kitty/tee hee…what a doll…how ’bout Dolly as a precious little stripey cutie patottie our Star-kit today at TDK!
How about Atti for this sweet little girl?
When Momma Kitty saw your parents’ home, she knew it was the BEST home for her baby. Kitty will choose her name soon enough. Right now, she’s basking in the warm glow of adoration! Many happy years to come.
There are many foundlings in folk, classic and contemporary literature. Of course “Tom Jones, a foundling” comes to mind, but that would be for a tomkitten. Perdita, the heroine of “A Winter’s Tale” is another.
She could be Attica, which like Atticus is a real name, as long as the name reminds you of the attic and of Classical Greece, not of a notorious prison in New York State.
A friend’s girl kitten with a meow several times larger than her little body (though she wasn’t a foundling) was named Décibel (the accent is because we live in Montréal and she is a French cat). So glad that voice saved her tiny new life!
Yay for the little one who meowed till someone heard her! How about a name of an opera singer? She’s an incredible itty-bitty bundle of fluffy joy!
She is so beautiful…..I am glad that you found her…
Hello Tigger with a mighty voice fortune upon you and throughout your life.
What a beautiful baby girl! How lucky you & she are that her momma chose your attic!
In this rare instance I think ‘Kitty’ would be a fine name for this strong willed survior, motherless child. Reminds me of the character on some old western, named Kitty, who had a strong personality and was pretty and cute at the same time.
for goodness sakes, she is as cute as a button!
Oh my goodness what a sweet babygirl…
Bless you for saving this tiny girl and literally being her mama. It must have taken a mighty effort to keep such a young kitten alive. I’d love to hear all that you must have gone through with kitten formula and all. Since she has a mighty voice that alerted you, my suggestion for a name is Mai’ Tee or just Mighty Mite. Many wonderful loving years with your new fur child! Give the precious one a snuggle and mooch for me!
That little cutie made my morning! 🙂
How about “Diva?” She’s loud enough and confident enough.
squeeee! she’s so TINY, what a precious little thing she is. Thank you for taking such good care of her. mmm…how about Kiri? she could be your own little stripey soprano 🙂
How about “Flower” from Flowers in the Attic?
Oh how sweet, she is gonna be a beauty!
Such a beautiful little girl!
I’m always warmed and inspired by the stories of rescued and adopted kittens, and this is certainly a tale with a happy ending.
May “Kitty” and her humans be blessed with many fun, loving years together.
What a little sweetie! Since you found her “on high” (in the attic), maybe she should be called “Angel”… as in “Angels we have heard on high”.
Besides, as far as I’m concerned all kitties are little furry angels!
Just a warning ahead of time, if she’s anything like our furbaby that we rescued with the placenta still attached and bottle fed, she’s going to be the ruler of the house. Phred was totally spoiled and ran the other cats (especially her adopted “dad” Snowball) ragged. Be prepared to be told in no uncertain terms when she wants something, because she’ll want it NOW and will brook no delays! She’ll have you trained in no time :).
Welcome to the world, Kitty. You really are precious!
Kitty is adorable. No matter what name you decide on, be sure to give lots o snuggles!
I’ve heard of finding treasures in the attic, but Kitty is the best! Enjoy!
Precious is amazaing 🙂
Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments they really made me smile. As for a name… this is the hardest yet for me… I think it is because she is SO freakin cute!
So as of today, she is 1M and 7 days old! And man there has been a lot of work, several containers of formula and I am still working on getting her to eat solids, but she is giving me a hard time.
The first few weeks were the hardest for me, between full time school and work, plus a cat who just had a MAJOR life saving surgery and dealing with that stress I was beyond exhausted up every other hour feeding her and playing with her… meanwhile I was half dead. I lived on Monster for a week. But now it is a little easier, except she just wants to play play play and it is hard to say no.
Surprisingly enough, she is not a loud vocal kitty. When we found her in the attic she was screaming for her life. But now, she is so content, never hungry that she hardly makes a peep. But she is very healthy and strong.
I love that I found her and this is my second time hand raising a kitten, I love it, but it is exhausting and I cant wait to sleep a complete night without feedings.
I LUUUUUVVVVVVV KITTIEEEEESSSSSSSSS <3
