cm – you certainly have your hands full. i have two grand nieces, emily who is almost 5 1/2 years, she goes to kindergarden. and her sister, amanda kate, who is just a little past 3 years, she goes part time to a preschool program. they are a delight to visit, see them on holidays, and family occassions. but i know they keep their parents busy.

take care of yourself, you have a very precious cargo you are carrying.

Hi everybody! It’s cold and dreary here in SW Michigan. Predicted for SNOW at the end of the weekend, possibly lake effect too.

I think I’ll hunker down and make me a big passle o chicken soup. Makes the house smell so nice and comforting.

AH! Full Moon! That indeed is why our kitties are all trying to kill us! (lol)

To those I have missed…good morning! It’s Friday! At the office today, there is only 4 of us clerical and 1 bookkeeper. YAY! All the rest of the staff is at a seminar in preparation of tax season. We do have special plans for having a little time to visit and we are wrapping gifts for “Cheer Boxes” for Amanda the Panda, a local support for people who have lost a loved one during the past year.

Hi Siobhan! Mmmm, chicken soup sounds good. The one good thing about yesterday was going home to green chile stew – yum! I was planning to finish it off tonight, but then hubby said he was going to make linguini with garlic shrimp – can’t say no to that! I should have brought the stew for lunch.

They better start insulating my house… *Joan starts muttering incoherently again*

The chimney isn’t done, so we’re still burning lots of really expensive propane when we could be burning wood we got for free, argh! They keep saying “tomorrow”. Well, it’s been “tomorrow” for 2 weeks and the weather is for the most part not condusive for cement mixing today or tomorrow. Sigh. I think it will be a mac & cheese caserole night – need comfort food.

Yes, after seeing the thread on kitties plotting to kill us, I definitely think our kitties are plotting something.

    For those having a tough time today (interviews, work, etc.), hugs and good wishes to you {{hugs}} {{good wishes}}

LOL…I’m one of those with laundry in my car, too. Was supposed to go last night, but I just didn’t feel up to it. Don’t know if it’ll get done tonight either.

Good Morning Littermates!!!! Can I get some strong coffee and maybe a big ancore??? The wind is blowing about 60-70 mph. most everything from my back yard I will have to go retreave from my neighbors yards after the wind dies down.

Leela is getting wise to the crate. She knows that when mommy is just about to leave for the day, she scoops the litter box, and refreshes the water and crunchies, checks for Larry’s whereabouts, and expects Miss Leela to go in there. I had to chase her down this morning. Miss Houdini got 1 latch undone so now it’s been reinforced with a twistie-tie.

Kilroy, doncha just ADORE a man who can cook and cook WELL? My husband loves to cook, and he’s really looking forward to having meals ready when I come home. Isn’t that wonderful?

He’s retiring right before Christmas to take our small business full-time. Like Emma, we sell at crafts shows on weekends. We’ve been limited by how much time off we get from our jobs (lol).

I do love it, Siobhan. My hubby is retired, so he always insists that it makes sense for him to take care of dinner instead of my having to deal with it when I get home from work. No complaints here.

Hi, Everybody! I’m just back from the gym where once again the evil Kick A$$ machine tried to win but I emerged victorious! Stinky but victorious.

Great video, Deb! I never see anything that nice at our grocery store 🙁

Well, we have company coming for dinner and a hard freeze forecast for tonight. So I need to do a bit of cooking and then try to figure out where I can put the plants that are on my patio.

    See y’all later!

Morning all! Coffee would be lovely. I need some caffein. Today in addition to my regular stuff, I get to blow up 25 balloons and several inflatable palm trees for a Birthday party this afternoon. No I do not even know the birthday girl, but we auctioned off an indoor beach party for kids and today is the day. Somehow it has gone from someone else (whose idea it was to put together this package) doing the decorating to me! At least I don’t do the same thing every day!

Good morning WWM and anyone I might have missed!!!

Ready to jet out of here for my day’s travels, and just wanted to ask if anyone has a spare blessing or two to send one to my daughter who is due the week before Jen/CM. She is still getting sick everyday and on a normal year is dark and depressed during the winter months….being pregnant has made that worse and I feel so sorry for her, hard to enjoy the pregnancy while being sick all the time. I still remember her as my little 5 yr old who wouldn’t speak to children because they were silly and had nothing to say that made sense to her, lol. She wanted to have conversations and her classmates wouldn’t comply with her wishes & desires.
