My kitten is 11 weeks old and has been a “normal” spunky and playful kitten since we got her at 6 weeks old. She was dewormed about 10 days ago along with her first shots. In 24 hours, she’s gone from playing with anything and everyone, to curled up and sleeping ALL day. Yesterday evening she was unusually tired, and she slept curled up with me all night (she’s usually up and roaring around the house intermittently) and even after I got up this morning, she went and snuggled up with my son. Today, she’ll play for maybe 30 seconds, then curl up and go back to sleep.
Her appetite is great, she’s drinking water and appears to be eliminating normally. Gums are a healthy pink. She does not appear to be in any distress – when she gets up to eat, her eyes are bright and she doesn’t seem sluggish.
I will take her to the vet of course, but I’m wondering if anyone has any insight?
