Maybe they want to be held and cuddled a little. They would cuddle with their Mama if they had one

On the weekend their are less people about so keep your thread bumped–they will come. There are many people who know far more than I do about tiny kitties

Hi Natalyd, are the kittens warm enough? They need a covered hot water bottle or heat pad to the side of their box to cuddle up too. Also they may want more food since they’re growing. Also are you burping them? Just like a baby you hold them to your shoulder and pat their back. Or they may want cuddles like CTR said. Keep trying things they think you’re their Mama now.

have they pooped at all yet? Newborns usually start crying when they are about to poop, thats usually how i know i’m on the right track and to keep on stimulating them. Otherwise keep them warm, and have them checked by a vet if they dont stop crying or continue to be cranky.

i’ve added a tag in the right hand corner at the top of the page – triangle method. A lot of tdk’ers swear by it for getting reluctant kittens to poop.

I can’t believe it has been two years since I went through this same things but definitely look into the temp…my a/c was keeping the room way too cold for the babies…once I shut the vent and gave them a heating pad on low, wrapped with two towels they cuddled in and quieted right down…

I’ve added some tags too, and they do lead to some of my pages, because many people have posted links for me when I first got Duchess.

Perhaps, like some have said, they are cold. Make sure they have a warm place to sleep such as a heating pad wrapped in a towel to prevent it from getting too hot. Along with a place for them to move off, in case they get too hot. It shouldn’t be too bad with the both of them they can keep each other warm.

As for the crying maybe they haven’t been fed enough. Sometimes my kitten Duchess will cry when she wants attention and that’s it. Or sometimes when someone disturbs her she’ll cry.

Make sure that the area is not too drafty, or too hot. Along with the an area that doesn’t allow too much light in depending on how old they are. They also most likely should get a vet check up see how healthy your kittens are and such. Along with other things. Good luck and welcome to TDK
