    So is he basically telling you that you have no right to look at your cats records? If you have a kitty that has been treated with it you should be able to ask what he has been on before.

    but with all the rescue work i used to do, for the life of me, i cant remember what the kitty was called 🙁 there are 60+ cats on our file at the vet, i can understand why they wouldnt want to check them all. If they would just let me check the supply closet . . . But dr peck never gives me this kind of grief, i’m sure its just the locum.

    the stuff is called vibra vet, and its made by pfizer.

    Skyron, that’s what I always have to give Jasper when he needs antibiotics. He WILL NOT take pills from me or the vet (unless they have one of those long pill-popper things), and if you crush them into his food, he carefully eats all round the little pink bits.

    But hold out a smear of vibravet paste on your finger and he thinks he’s getting a treat and he’ll lick it off like nobody’s business, lol. I love it!

    jcat, IMO vibravet is the holy grail of antibiotics. I have never come across a disease process that doesnt respond to that stuff. If the kitty doesnt get better on that, I know its bad news – usually FIP FeLV.
