Please give a huge TDK welcome to our Star Kit for today, Chippy. She is a 6 week old Soi Cat from Pattaya, Thailand.
We run a shelter for cats and kittens here in Pattaya Thailand, every Monday we go shopping and upon our return this particular week we stopped at a builders merchants to inquire about some stone chippings for the house. Whilst I was in the office I could hear the desperate cries of a small kitten in the distance. “You want a baby cat”, the lady asked me, I told her that we already had nearly 40 at home but would take a look. There in the store room on top of a pile of pallets were 2 small cardboard boxes. The first one had 2 tiny babies that had already passed away, but in the next box screaming her tiny lungs off was this little cutie, her eyes were still closed tight so we guessed that she was maybe only 3 days old and was obviously starving. Apparently mum had disappeared and left them all.
We rushed her home and rummaged in cupboard for a tin of goat’s milk and just a few minutes later “Chippy” as we called her had a full tummy and was looking for a soft bed to sleep in, we quickly arranged a basket with bed and lamp to keep her warm (yes they can still get cold even in Thailand). For the first 4 weeks I fed her every 3 hours day and night but now she has reached the ripe old age of 6 weeks she eats and drinks all by herself. We are sure that she will find a new home pretty soon and that will be one more Thai kitten saved !!
You can follow her and the rest of our cats and kittens by looking at our website http://cats4youinpattaya.webs.com/ Thanks to everyone at TDK.

Chippy is super-adorable and with your care, continued in her new furever home (hopefully she finds one soon) will soon be a chipper tuxie! Blessings Paul and Sandra for the awesome rescue work that you do, and blessings to the kitties! 🙂
What an adorable little kitten! Chippy was so lucky you decided to stop at that store that day. Her little crate is equipped with everything she needs and you supply the love! Hope she finds a furrever home soon. Bless you for the work you do!
Wee Chippy is so precious…THUD! I’m glad the lady sought you out to give this wee scrap a chance at life.
I love those Thai cats – look at the site. In general they have big ears and svelte bodies (even when they are well-fed) like what we call Siamese, but only a minority of them have the “points”. I’m sorry the siblings died, but at least you’ve saved her.
Yes, look at the site. They are a distinctive cat, and the chipster will be a happy example thanks to your care. Bless you for the work you; mama’s efforts did not go for nothing.
Chippy is so cute – such pretty markings and adorable wee pink nose!
So happy her tiny lungs caught your attention so you could save her life. Thank you for all you do for Thai cats.
Bless you and thank you for saving Chippy’s life and the lives of so many others:) Such a wee sweet little girl. May she find the best most loving forever home ever:)
