Kittyzee,
I haven’t given her anything for pain yet because that’s what I’m afraid of. I’ve just been giving her cat calming treats, pet rescue remedy, and been diffusing lavender. I also don’t know what to do for her claw wounds in the meantime to prevent infection, I’ve just been keeping her litter box exceptionally clean.
I don’t blame you for asking about my brother. I’ll admit, he’s 13, but he is the sweetest kid ever. This 13 year old walks around his school with his puppy strapped to his chest not caring what others think, he will push my cat in a stroller if I’m not there even though it embarrasses him, and he is never, ever mean to her. He definitely didn’t do anything to provoke and attack. If it was my other brother, I’d understand that she attacked him, but not this one. Penny on the other hand IS mean, aggressive, angry, and has too many things that set her off. You can’t sniff/smell her, you can’t point at her (or in her direction), etc. The only thing I can think of is displaced anger, she maybe was looking out the window (which sometimes makes her agitated) and then lashed out at my brother, got her claws stuck, ripped them out, and assumed it was my brothers fault so continued her rampage. That’s all we’ve got so far.
