I am by no means an expert, but I have just raised two feral kittens from day old to their current age of 7 weeks!! Poos were very rare until they got onto solid food. In the end I sewed net curtain to the outside of the dog crate and that worked perfectly. Tbh by 4 weeks they had out grown it and now wandering round, strutting their stuff. Just made them another cat cave, which they seem to love.
Also any body worrying about poop, ours rarely did one, but as soon as they started on solids, they popped perfectly…[Read more]
Thanks, not sure what you mean by “screen” but I was thinking of making some fabric sides, or even attaching some chicken wire to discourage the small heads popping through. I’ll just have to be careful that no bits of wire are poking out the wrong way. I’ll post a picture if I ever get it done.
We have been hand rearing two kittens, they are now two weeks and I am aware that in the next week or so they will get more active and need to start litter training etc. So what are people’s kitten set ups like. They seem too small to give them the run of an entire room. What do other people have set up?
