Halp! I iz not cheezburger! Hehe
The wee kitten at skool looking for a mini cheeseburger is adorable!
I love cheeseburgers! Less is more for me too, just a fresh bun, crisp lettuce, and if the tomato is fresh enough, no ketchup is needed!
That tiara was so beautiful! So glad the weather was purrfect for the procession. Reminded me of the…[Read more]
I too am a fan of cheese burgers! from good beef, to turkey, to fish …. give ma a nice slice of cheese, lettuce and pickles … yumm!!! Grilled in my 100+ year old cast iron skillet, nothing better!
I typically like either coleslaw or marinated tomato/cuke/onions as a side …. potato wedges or chips are ok, but I like something lighter!
Please put your paws in the air and welcome our newest Star Kit, Lucas Winter Skywalker. He is an 8 week old Snowshoe from New Hampshire.
This is Lucas, aka Luke Skywalker loving named by my 5 yr old […]
Totally adorable kitty with a beautiful wee face.
I love his name.
Lucas, I love your sooty nose! You are such a pretty boy. (Shh! don’t tell your handsome brother I said so!)
Lucas is a handsome tyke. The white spots down his nose are adorable.
Lucas, you are as handsome as your brother!
Lucas is a dolly and half as well as his bro. So glad the two got to go home together.
Hi Adiehl, those wee specks are most likely flea dirt which means your kitten has fleas and that can be very dangerous for such a young kitten. Too many flea bites can lead to anaemia and failure to thrive.
To eliminate the fleas you will need to bathe your kitten using Dawn dishwashing soap. Use tepid/warm water and Dawn dish soap in it, then…[Read more]
Good afternoon all, tired from sitting up til well after midnight watching the Royal wedding. I love the difference in this wedding compared to William and Kates, less formal more personal. Wow, I loved Bishop Curry’s sermon on love, what a wake up and sit up style of preaching.
PG, don’t worry about people who can’t understand. Heck we all have…[Read more]
Good afternoon – the “go forth” pic makes me think of the line in Blazing Saddles “go and do that voodoo that you do so well!”
Learned to swim at the town lake. Bicky Ealy taught a good percentage of the town baby boomers to swim there. Dad taught me how to swim in the ocean – went to the Jersey Shore each year for family vacation. Most importa…[Read more]
Late morning all! …. I had taped the royal wedding, so I was able to fast forward to the important parts …. I did love the clothes and the wedding dress, it reminded me of Maria in the Sound of Music! ….
Growing up in Florida near the beaches, we too had to learn to swim early …. our summers were spent every year along the shores of…[Read more]
I was part fish as a child, I loved and lived in the water if I could, ocean, lake, river or lagoon. We spent our Summer holidays camping at various beaches and swimming there or in any nearby beach. When I was nine I was caught leaping off a bridge with my brothers, by Mum. 🙁 I was in deep trouble.
Mum was a swimming teacher so I learned to swim…[Read more]

Good morning all, it’s Saturday ! Cool night last night so we lit the fire mainly to see how this years firewood would burn. It went well, good slow burn with great heat. Thank goodness after last years damp wood.
Oh my, the trouble with posting pics when tired is that I didn’t notice the cats in a compromising position. 😳 😳…[Read more]

I don’t know much about Habitat 67, ‘cept that designer/architect was Canadian/Israeli Moshe Safdie. And some kids in my high school lived there and I guess it was a longish trip each schoolday.
It’s KJ with the “pink eye” and I usually rock shades whenever possible – as a style choice! But yeah, this think is just that annoying.
Anyway I’m out…[Read more]

Hi everyone – I work next door to the town museum. They have limited hours of operation though, but I’ll get there soon. It’s housed in a former one room schoolhouse.
Tough times here in Jersey. School bus full of 5th graders on a field trip versus dump truck on a wet interstate route 80. 2 fatalities. Then there’s today in Texas, sigh.…[Read more]

On one of my 2 Israel trips I visited the Dead Sea Scroll Museum. Way interesting! Later took a course on the Dead Sea Scrolls which for a “live” course was very good, prof really knew his stuff.
Wish I’d visited this museum:
… It showcases the mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and insects of Scripture, as well as related zoological…[Read more]

Please join me in meeting and greeting our newest Star Kit, Miles. He is an 8 week old Snowshoe from New Hampshire.
This new kitten was totally unexpected! We went to the breeders to meet our new kitten […]
Wow, just the sweetest wee face and you have two of them. Beautiful.
Wow! Mr. Miles does have an irresistible face – easy to see how you instantly fell in love. And nice that you kept the family together! 🙂
Baby blue eyes get me every time! Congratulations on your new friends.
Blue eyed beauty!
That face is saying take me with you! He’s a cutie.
He IS a very cute little guy, and I’m very happy you kept these two littermates together.
To those saying “It’s great that he has blue eyes” and the like: I think ALL kittens are born with blue eyes, There comes a time in their young age, at which they eyes gradually change color to green, yellow, etc. SOME cats’ eyes stay blue, but far from all.
Miles, of course your new humans fell in love with you? Who wouldn’t, with a sweet face like that? No sibling rivalry, now – I bet Lucas is just as sweet.

Today brings the opportunity to visit, appreciate, and support your local museum. Especially if it has “impurroved” pictures such as these on loan from the TDK gallery!
Dali-ing around LOL!

Thanks PG – I now have that abysmal tune “Ben” from the “Willard” movies as earworm! 🙄
Great that acupuncturist was able to figure out prob. Yeah, stretches cause pain, but I would think that she would have told you at what point of pain threshold to stop. From experience profs can only do so much in a session and keeping up with…[Read more]
Please give a huge paws up to our newest Star Kit, Soul. He is 8 days old from O’Fallon, Illinois.
Soul was born to a first time momma and abandoned right away because his placenta was still attached. My […]
The most gentle pounce!
Dear little grey soul!
I just lost my gray 15 year old Smokey a month ago. If I was younger I would get another gray kitten. I have a soft spot for gray cats. I have two 5 year olds, so I will not be getting another one. Love that little guy and enjoy every minute with him.
Your wee Soul is too precious. You and your daughter are guardian angels.
Purrfect wee Soul! 🙂
Precious Soul! With your humans’ help you’ve made it through your difficult first week. Now continue to grow and be strong!
You should know that just giving him milk (from a cow) is not good enough; he really needs cat’s milk to give him the immunities he’s not getting from his mother. You can get cat’s milk at any pet supply shop, or maybe from a vet.
I hope you have many good years together!
Tiny sweet little one!
