And I know what you mean about the zoned-in look…pupils like saucers and madness in their eyes….haha!

All of this sounds exactly like Dave used to be. Now he has reached the grand old age of 2 and a half, he is too grown up for all of this childish behaviour. I must admit though we did get some help from a squirty bottle, just kept it filled with water and in plain view on the coffee table, when he used to go particularly bonkers we would give him a quick squirt and it used to bring him up short. And he rarely sleeps with us, I used to get sniffy with him sleeping on the bed, so he now sleeps downstairs on his cat platform and everyone is happy!! I would say just hang in there and carry on doing what you are doing, they will eventually turn the corner!!

She just ripped a chunk out my nose. Wee sod. And she’s eaten part of my translation. Working with a kitty is an ‘interesting’ experience.

Bad Pooky! You poor cat mom – it’s tough sometimes, I know!! My new injury today is a bright red 3 – 4 in scratch in the middle of my chest from a streaking attack last evening. One of my fav comedians (can’t remember his name now) says “and you know that will get infected cuz those are his turd burying paws” Bwaaa ha ha ha!!! Too funny…In some ways I long for the settling down of the kitteh, but in other ways I am just enjoying the wild times… It’s 99% good, 1% not always good 🙂

I just had to shut her out the room for some ‘time out’. She knows I ussually stop at 4pm, but I need to do some extra, and she’s not impressed. Even though I flapped her feather wand for her.

I’m covered in cat scratches, too, but it’s not the result of attacks. Sometimes I get the wand toy too close to me and I get a legful of claws, or a cat is startled while on my lap and jumps off, using claws for traction. I use a little antibiotic ointment on the cuts, and so far they haven’t gotten infected (crossing fingers)

You are not alone! My kitty is six weeks old and my hands and arms look like they have been in a war zone! When she is in a playing mood, then she jumps for my hands, latches onto and starts biting, usually with that bunny kick thing. Last night I was woken up by a smack against the nose and a bite on the hand.

I got mauled last night by Charger waaaaaa! He bit my nose too quite badly. Notty kitty needs a time out bad. But I think it was because I left him alone for half the day yesterday as I was really busy. Vengeful monkey.

Hugs to all the chew toys!
