Oldest daughter and family are leaving for Reykjavik, Iceland on Thursday….hope that they have a wonderful time 🙂

And if anyone hasn’t already said, it is wonderful that Liz has went home after her transplant…..yay quiet roars from the stands

Morning AV! Yes believe she spent 7 days after surgery and went home yesterday morning 🙂 Nice to spend the day with one’s offspring, what movie did you see ?

We saw the ‘Vacation’ remake …. I have to say, it was as funny as the first one! We laughed the whole time! ….. It’s the story of the Son (Rusty) trying to recreate the trip to Walley World with his family ….. Chevy Chase even did a cameo as the grandpa ….. we loved it!

…. well, the rain has come back full force! it’s been raining (pouring actually) since around 10am …. looks like it will continue all day into tomorrow *sighs* …. the roads are so soggy and the sewers so full, it won’t take long for the flooding to start again ….. the northern part of our county never went down, it’s been flooded for weeks!

Poor old Dru- likes soap in her water I guess! She’s a funny girl! She’s mega cuddly today and has timed this to coincide with humid icky weather. Looking forward to winter, blankets, hot water bottles. She’ll probably want some alone time then!
We caught the last 2 homeless kittens at work yesterday. Hadn’t seen them for days but they turned up safe and sound:) Happy ending. And whole event coincided with one year anniversary of losing Dru’s sister- you couldn’t make it up!! So far we have homes for mama cat (spayed already and went to her new place yesterday), 2 of the kits (someone at work will home them) and the last 2 are being safely fostered. We’re still not sure that the family are truly feral- they are too calm. Also, the lady who is fostering says the kittens are not dirty enough- she thinks that someone may have dumped them. Very good team building exercise for me and my colleagues:)

And a trip to Iceland very exciting Deb!

I’ve been out of action for a bit so much work to do at home because my back has been troubling me for a couple of weeks now 🙁 but Mr Noodle is looking after me 🙂

Good morning, it was a frosty below freezing morning and yes the fire is going. Sadly there isn’t a gently steaming hot tub and no snow but we did have hail yesterday.
MS wanders to the buffet and makes an avocado and crispy bacon sandwich on toast and gets a steaming mug of Irish breakfast tea. 🙂
Pineapple juice sound so good but I will leave that until later.
Hi Deb, i’m sure oldest daughter and family will have a great time in Iceland. Our oldest daughter and hubby are is the South Island enjoying the snow and mountains and just had an amazing train trip across the island in fresh snow and went gold panning – successfully, all one single flake of gold. 🙂
Judith I had to laugh at Dru’s aqua preferences, typical cat. Great news on trapping the last two kittens, good lives ahead for the entire family.
