    PG, there’s a new TV series starting up this week. You might find it interesting as you liked “Ripper Street.” Which I loved!

    Show is called “American Ripper” and is based on theory that Jack escaped capture by going to the US. It’s more of a documentary, featuring proofs/ commentary by the alleged Jack’s great-great-grandson. Jack is known as H. H. Holmes “America’s first serial killer.” Starts Tues 10 pm on History Channel. I’m PVRing it.

    KZ, new bedding is so luxurious, I love it when I replace ours!

    Did I tell you guys we have a new kitty in the family ? Dau was feeding a stray at her apt. that she called Tammy. The sweet thing wanted so badly to come inside and was a super cuddle bug. Dau put signs, notified the complex, and after 2 weeks of no response, took her to the vet. No chip, but healthy and super purry. Turns out he was a boy and already neutered. Was def someone’s pet vet said, around 2-3, which is what Dude is. So she brought him in, named him Walter – he’s a grey tabby. It only took 2 weeks, and he and Dude are play/wrestle buddies, bff cuddle buddies, and just recently became litter mates. Its obvious Dude wanted a brother, and Walter wanted a family. We couldnt be happier! As we all know in TDK, some things are just meant to be! They adopt us!!

    I just shuddered thinking of oatmeal and club soda. It’s good you have backup water now. I’ve seen the ads for American Ripper but I wasn’t sure if it would interest me. I’ll record some and see if I like it.

    When you’re sleeping so well and you don’t know what’s happening-that’s the best.

    PG, at least you said “backup water” as opposed to “backed up water” which would not do anyone any favours! 😉

    Seems like I’m on a Benedict Cumberbatch movie-thon. Last week in watched him playing Julian Assange in “The Fifth Estate.” Now it’s Alan Turing in “The Imitation Game.” All inadvertently. He’s one terrif actor!

    A moment occurred in Fri’s Knitting Circle that in retrospect was quite Café-esque. In passing I mentioned my kit and suddenly efurryone owned by a kit had to share cell pics and stories. One of the grrls had actual printed pics of her Tortie in her wallet! Another grrl, owned by 2 gorgeous Tonkinese kits lives near London and is here for a conference. Seems that many knitters are also cat lovers, meaning the myth that kits will curtail any activity that is yarn related is just that – a myth!

    Nighty night friends! Son just sent some amazing pics of him and gf having drinks on the banks of the congo ….. at least I know he’s safe now, and can rest easy …. thx for all your prayers 🙂
