Hehe MS, I have that ‘Dude’ pic on my fridge! Actually it’s AV whose kid sis is 50, I’m the baby in my family. But speaking of families, luckily for you PG, TDK is a family, and we care for you. Sometimes it seems the whole flesh and blood thing is overrated, depending on the type you end up with, for it’s actions that count. My family would love all of you, simply because I do.
Oh yes, that’s what it is about that herb, KJ – it helps with nausea. Really, I don’t see why it isn’t legal in some form, it’s hardly a gateway drug. You can bake with it, or probably blend it up in a smoothie, not like it has to be smoked. Bet they can make anti-nausea pills with it too, no more harmful than aspirin for a headache. *steps off soapbox*
I’m totally with you guys about high winds. Falling trees are a huge concern. We had a nice tree that seemed healthy, but the way it was leaning over the house worried me, so we had it removed. Power lines come down too, and losing power is no fun. When the power goes out, I don’t have water, because I have a well, which uses an electric pump to get it into the house.
I hope you all enjoyed the mid summer/mid winter lounge this weekend. PG, (and all of you, of course!) the menu is open ended so if something appeals to you at a later date, just order it up and a friendly duo of kits will deliver it to you!

AV, Grandma and Pokémon go??? 😯 Purrhaps confiscate her cell for a few days?
I hear you PG, ’cause if I wait for someone to call and check up on me I’ll be waiting a very long time. Sure if I call someone who I know will get back to me, not the same thing, but that’s how it is. Long story short, my family is not and better for me. I too appreciate my TDK family.
NO COFFEE!!!! I do feel for you grrrl. All kidding aside, if this feeling sick keeps up I suggest taking yourself to see a doc. I truly get detesting medical intervention, but last summer I had a “thing” and ended up dehydrated. And had to drink electrolyte c**p. Not fun, but ultimately it did help.
And yes, Dorry would get gym things sorted out pronto. Can land a man on the moon, can’t call company and figure out why stupid way expensive bikes squeak. What do mgrs, do, spend day playing Candy Crush?
MS that caffeine-craving wolf reminds me of “Werewolves of London” an all-time fave. Wonder if he has “a Chinese menu in his hand” but his hair is for sure “perfect.” 😉
JJ, we’re anticipating our prime minister’s legalizing the herb sometime soon, but my expectations are quite low as to the reality of any of his campaign promises. And from what I know the doc prescribed herb is in pill form, for sure they wouldn’t want patients adding smoking to regimen.

Marijuana can be prescribed in pill form and as an inhaler. But that is therapeutic use, which is certainly tolerated here now, and has been from time. I know a fellow with AIDS who uses it. But for therapeutic use (me: arthritis) I wouldn’t want a buzz that would impede work.

I certainly don’t think people should get a criminal record or a jail sentence for something so minor, though I’m not paticularly interested in using it. I’m a boomer, and tried it like most of us in the 1970s, but it never appealed to me.

Very muggy here. I had my hair, which was too long recently so always in a braid, cut to shoulder length, and it is practically an Afro now as my hair is very curly and it is so muggy… I have a nice elasticated bandana to keep it off my forehead and the nape of my neck…

Maple syrup appeals to me more when it is cold. 75% of all world production is here in Québec. Vermont is the largest US producer. I don’t have a waffle iron, so I just make crêpes. No sugar except the maple syrup for those who want it.
