Get kitted out in your khakis! And slather on the sunscreen! The decor’s done over in jungle villa theme. Prowling around are today’s kitty waitstaff – beautiful bengals, savanahs, occicats, ready to hunt down your favourite delights. Later, if you like they’ll take us on a photo safari, where we can see some of the big kitties – lions and tigers oh my – in the wild! And those of us who wish to/or have them can snap pics on their iPhones. But beware – those cuddly tiger kits gamboling on the path may look just like our own cuties … but in all likelihood Mama is hiding nearby. Place your orders for your favourite tuck now! Good morning!
And for your listening and viewing pleasure:

@ 02:48 MST in Tucson….Morning Katzenjammer, nice Cafe!

Oh what fun, it’s my Friday!!! 45 mins into my shift and my co-worker goes into a full-blown seizure, call 9-1-1 and get the ambulance here….he is at the hospital now…

What a fabulous cafe, KJ, I think I will pass on the mice and birds for brekkie though and stick with apricot danish and latte coffees, yum. Deb, holy moley, I think you work in the craziest place in Arizona, I’m talking about some of your co-workers — if they’re there they don’t want to work but mostly they’re not there and if they are there, they get really sick, and you don’t even get bathroom breaks!

Wow, Deb, Lake Powell is pretty spectacular and that horseshoe bend really is a horseshoe! That’s how I imagine Arizona and Utah looking.
KJ, unfortunately I don’t have sound on this computer (it’s a stop gap and to work out why the sound card isn’t working properly or buy a new one would cost more than the puter’s worth) but I remember Toto’s Africa well… Funnily enough, our local ukelele orchestra does a version I really like (amazing but true)…

I can’t get the pics, Deb…..says cookies must be enabled to view them, wth? I have only been in AZ and NV twice, but still find myself thinking of their beautiful landscape….hubs doesn’t like the desert, says it is boring, but I think it is fascinating and has a haunting beauty!

Oooh, I just got my cheese danish served by a very handsome Savanah! He purred like crazy when I complimented him and adjusted his bowtie collar.

Deb, those desert shots and Lake Powell are beautiful. And horseshoe bend really does look like a horseshoe!

    Hope your co-worker is okay.

The renovation nightmare continues….I can’t stand this much longer. We started this in August so that by the time it got cold it would be done. I will be lucky if it is finished by Thanksgiving at this rate. And the temp is dropping. We are at a balmy 55 degrees in the house…the colder it gets the harder it is to move–hate RA and lupus at the moment!

On the bright side I have jury duty for only one more month!!

Morning AV, Katthays, SM and Joan 🙂

Who knows about the co-worker, he just got out of the major hospital yesterday after spending a week there for his diabetes and other problems. He was unconcious but with his eyes wide open, he said he didn’t feel like he was supposed to be at work, so we shall see.

“knock on wood” the CC’s are relatively “Q” probably didn’t help that I told them to hang on for a bit while the EMS pesonnel were wandering thru the tight spots and asking questions.

Morning all! Well here weatherperson cheerfully announced that temp hit an unprecedented seasonal “all-time low” of 0 degrees Celcius – meaning if it rains, they promise that too, I guess it could turn to snow!!! Lake Powell looks like a good back-up plan, if only virtually. Deb, your workplace, not in any way making light of 9-1-1 situation, but, wow! SM, jury duty? Can you tell us all about the case -just joking, really :-). Glad peeps like café. BTW anecdote is true, told over by a colleague who visited Kenya, heard it as warning lesson. Apparently some guy got away from tour group, decided to give a belly rub to some oh-so-cute, look just like my orangies back home kits, protective Mama was watching from camouflaged post … guy never made it home. Not a pretty sight I’d imagine. JCat, “Africa” on ukuleles? There is a Toto vid with an opening to the beat of African drums, awesome. If you say it sounds good, well, yeah! 🙂

KJ, I worked 9-1-1 for a little over 10 years, this is kinda sorta like it without the EMS part and the fact that Agents listen like husbands….ok in other words they don’t listen at all, lol!

Has anyone seen the commercial for Duluth Trading Post shirts, how funny it has a Moose and a lumberjack….supposed to be advertising the underarm gusseting of the shirt…

06:43 MST, Oh thank goodness I have only 1 hr and 15 mins to go….my relief will be exactly on the hour because he is a slug and rolls like that.
