    Hi efurryone,

    Who knew there was a song about sleeping in the subway?! I like the catnip sleep over, MS. 😀

    The sun is out and it’s another gorgeous day. It won’t be very warm but if you lay in the sunshine it’s lovely. LilBit started the day (after noms) with a pout. Miss Moppet got to the top level on the bedroom cat tree before him so he sat in the hallway, pouting. *sigh*

    Now, I get discuss my latest bill with the cable company. *another sigh*

    Hi all – the JJ crew knows all about public sleeping, but it’s somewhat in their past. Now they either come inside or nap in an insulated straw lined shelter in my backyard. Life is good!

    It’s another nice day here in Jersey. Tomorrow a nor’ester moves in, but I’m working the next 2 days so I’m probably not missing much. Except for a cozy spot by the fire with hot chocolate and a good book!

    Finally getting back to some good walking/hiking workouts. The roads and trails are wet in areas where rainwater is coming down the mountain, but the snow is gone.

    We’re slated for rain and possibly snow in n’hood. Just when I thought Spring had finally sprung.

    PG, Miss Moppet rightfuy deserves to be on the top level, according to Dorry that is.

    MS, that art on sleeping in public is indeed fortuitous!

    Speaking of whom, the boy seems to have taken a dislike to my decor. Specifically my office task lamp, which he knocked over. He summarily got tossed into bdrm while I cleaned up broken glass! The lamp seems to be a right off so I re-organized my lighting decor. Actually more efficient, so purrhaps he has a decor sense. 😉

    Finished my 2 hats for donation to local hptl oncology dept via n’hood knitting store. Glad that they’re done as I confirmed that I def do not like working with double pointed needles, which is what one uses at the crown. I hope tht whoever gets them will find them comfy and pretty. I wanted one to be very feminine and the other to be cheery and i think that I succeeded, considering that this is yarn left over from my sweater projects. Back to sweaters which will be a breeze!

    YES, great hats KJ!

    I’m not one for public sleeping…and my cats aren’t either. LOVE the pic of the kitten inside the round piece of wood with a noir kitten laying on the outside! It’s hard to pick a favorite, they are all adorable.

    Did a lot of running around this afternoon with oldest dau. Then we started getting texts from oldest granddaughter…second day in a row of threats of gun violence at the school. Unfounded, but these kids are rightfully scared. The fifth grader who made the threats Monday, has been expelled–I don’t know what or if the juvenile justice system did. Today the threats were made through FB, and of course the school is mandated by law to have a fire drill, which threw the students into a panic. These kids making threats have to realize how serious this is. And my heart breaks for them knowing they will never know a fun, carefree school experience like I had–where the most I worried about was if I studied hard enough for my math test and that Eddie thought that I looked nice today. 😥

    Tk for hat compliments. Now I’m back into sweaters. One is a cable called “Chameleon”, a mix of greens, greys and browns, the other a classic “boyfriend” style in “Aubergine”.

    KZ, I hope that these kids posting what they seem to think is a “joke” get srs fear put into them and that any G-d forbid attacks are caught before they go further.

    PG, you give the cable company “what for”!

    I feel like I should take a catnap, as my spin class is at 6 pm, but I’m also doing my course work and knitting at the same time. Then again I don’t want to fall asleep on a spin bike! Looks like it will de rain, getting dark and gloomy out.

    I’m hoping that a wee kitten that gym cohort found in the country up North finds a fantastic furever home. Right now it’s staying at her friends and will be vetted tomorrow as she has a kit, a floofy Basement Cat, TK. Then she could foster. Shelter (place is called The Pussy Patrol – yup!) that is arranging for check-up/tests says that such an adorable kitten will easily be adopted. I hope so.

    In other news a Marshall’s store just opened in a mall where I often find myself! Yes! The place also has a Winner’s (same deal as TJ Maxx) so isn’t this big-time competition? Then again both stores have same owner, same one as TJ Maxx) and IMHO the more places to score great deals the better! 🙂

    I had missed the wee black cat in the photo of the ginger cat sleeping in the hollow stump!

    As in the security warning message: “one train can hide another”… one cat can hide another.
