“Small is good”. Today those tiny yet feisty Singapura kitties are having a sling – make that fling – in the kitchen. The café is done up in the style of Singapore’s famous “Raffles Hotel”, immortalised by writers including Somerset Maugham, Rudyard Kipling, Ernest Hemingway and Alfred Hitchcock. Liveried kitties will usher us through an ornate wrought-iron portico, beyond which are polished teak verandas and tropical gardens. And for the comfort of those from warmer climes, those equally famous ceiling fans. A continental menu is there for our perusal, or as always anything we wish is available. As for those adorable kits, watch out! As Shakespeare said “Though she be but little she is fierce.”

Hi KJ & Commune. Aren’t those Singapuras cute! I almost tripped over 2 kittens playing with a toy because I was so busy looking up at the decor!
Commune, I will never look at Australia the same again!

Windy, chilly and branches brushing against windows this morning, between all that and cats (won’t even mention names ~ Kitty) bugging the daylights out of me….who could sleep well. Plus had a hairball donation this morning on the cover over me so that is in the dryer now after being washed. Waiting for daylight and the branches will be trimmed back this morning before anything else, that sound is creepy.

To top that off, I hear weird noises outside, neighbor is siphoning gas from one veh to another….talk about poor planning, its barely grey dawn even, windy as hell and cold out ….get gas during the day maybe

Morning Deb, Joan *waves*!

And Joan, if you pop in during “Happy Hour” those kits will be making “Singapore Slings”. (But in Café is not every hour Happy Hour, hmmm)

Commune, that “divided” map OMG!!! Now all I need do is figure out what’s where so that I ever happen to visit AU I can make my travel plans according to where the “cat peeps” are. *Brilliant image of KJ bringing this map into travel agency and “trying” to explain*

I can’t even find my own province on a map of Canada – geography was clearly not my forté LOL.

We finally received the daily promised snowstorm. Gets slightly warmer when it snows, but point in time that slushy stuff. My big fear is that if temp drops it freezes over. Spoke with someone who was at work already and warned me to say no to suede boots 2day in favour of something waterproof. Another bore are drivers who seemingly have KJ earmarked for splashing. Very *unfluffy* once I got completely covered in sludge from head to toe. Nothing for it, going out so later all.

G’meowrning all from sunny/chilly Brewtown. Paw up waving to you Deb, Joan, Commune, KJ. Furry fun café w/Singapura cuties today! Thanks for links Commune & Deb.
I need a very large cuppa joe. (Actually sipping pumpkin brew/yum). Solo at this place today/month end so will be busy & visiting TDK on the sly when I can. So back I go to part 1 day 3’s fun. Now a smooch for Tux, later kits.

Firemen are generally “hot” but I prefer to enjoy them on a calendar (not) and not on the job. Kitties and candles don’t mix. PS this site seems to be “flickering” on and off?

Hi all!….. haha on the ‘divided’ Austrailia! ………… made me LOL

…. today is my cooking day, I got ‘Tom’ in the oven around noon, and am now doing all my chop/prep, so that tomorrow all I have to do is mix/stir and shove in the oven! ……. I’ll take the Turkey off the bone later today, cover it in gravy, and then just have to reheat tomorrow…….. always the moist way I have found to do ‘the bird’ …..

…. will be popping in/out between chores….. this is one of my favorite days of the year! ……… how is everyone doing?

Early Happy Thanksgiving Day wishes to my special TDK Family!
