Those kits have gotten into the holiday spirit and we can expect plenty of caterwauling as the furries kindly *entertain* us with their “impurr-oved” carols.

When I’m out and about I don’t hear much caroling anymore. Maybe folks are following Grumpy. 😉

I got all my cards in the mail. This is the first year I’ve managed to do that…before Christmas. 🙂

Oh happy hump day! Well, the pics today are amazingly adorable, and I thought I had a favorite, but in scrolling down I kept finding a new one to chuckle or go ‘awww’ at, so I can’t pick just one!

PG, you are awesome getting your cards mailed…I’m a failure this year at doing that and very disappointed in myself. 🙁

I tried wrapping presents yesterday with Avery helping. She started strong, and then she sat at the table with me with sheets of paper and a pen scribbling notes as she was pretending to be a police officer (who knows?) and she was writing reports. I got a total of 4 presents wrapped. Then when I thought I heard her in her room playing with her cooking set, she was actually in my bedroom at the vanity putting on makeup. 😳 When I came into the room she threw herself on the bed saying she didn’t like makeup anymore. You have never seen such a horrendous mess on a face in your life. She did apply the mascara with skill though. I won’t know the extent of the damage to my makeup until I try using it again…

Happy culmination of Chanukah for those celebrating it, as we anticipate the Solstice! Winter for most of us here… Summer for Moonshadow… anyone else down under?

The Argentinian comic character Mafalda (a little girl in Buenos Aires) turned her globe with the South Pole to the top so Argentina (and Chile) would be at the top of the world…

I’m drinking a cool glass of San Pelligrino (sparkling mineral water) – avoiding drinking more coffee!

It is fairly mild this morning and Livia went out on the back balcony, and I think down in the garden (where there is still some snow). She is back inside, sleeping in her chair in my office.

Good morning, today, not Christmas, just might be Comet’s favorite day, for he loves to sing! I never complain when he choses the middle of the night for his concerts; there will come a day when I won’t hear them at all, so sing away, Comet!

JJ, IMHO you should make a recording of Comet singing. Then he could become famous, ie books, appearances, movies, T-shirts etc. And you could become srsly wealthy. I could be his agent for a (small) percentage. Hehehe 😉

Yup Chanukah is over. And when cleaning my Chanukiah, well it began to come apart. 🙁 It lasted a good while so time for a new one – for next year, although I might just buy one now.

It might be not so cold now, but it’s gradually getting back to really freezing (like by the time that I go out!) *Sigh*

Feeling somewhat cruddy still, but channeling my energy into hazeling as I decided that while doing the total mattress rotation, bedding change, to wash duvet/pillows. Fun when I feel like doing this.

I’m hearing Xmas tunes efurrywhere that I go (‘cept my gym natch!) and well whatever.

The 12 days of Catmess made me LOL! ….. *hangs head in shame* …. I didn’t get my cards out this year either! ….. first time in a decade :/

Mr. AV made it safely to LV, where he and Son are furiously packing/loading the moving truck, and hopefully will take off tomorrow for the long trek home! …. I know they’ll be exhausted, but it will be great to have Son home for good! … his girls have really missed him!

My Hazel is here with me this week, we’re putting the final touches on the 3rd floor cat room for Dau’s boys and are washing/cleaning all the linens, towels, and the house for the holiday shenanigans! ….. can’t wait til everyone gets here!

We just had a power failure for about an hour or so. But thank goodness it was after my mega laundry effort and more importantly after my srs coffee!

Getting ready to head on out to gym. I know, I do have the crud, but it seems to be slightly better thank G-d and well, whatever. Fortunately when I went down to get mail parcel delivery mailman (really nice guy) warned me that it’s really icy out! I will be donning the cleated boots.

If possible, not going out tomorrow at all. I have a huge bunch of spinach to deal with; some will become salad but much of it will have to be processed…

Lagatta smart move- it is not pretty outside. Wonder why they don’t salt the d**n sidewalks! Grrr! 😡

Very thankful for my cleated boots, but even so with all the ice I’m walking on the side of the road.
