Well the good part of this end of day is that we are finally receiving our long-promised rain – and by this I mean “where’s the Ark that’s supposed to save us?” rain. I love rain, even though heat/humidity will still be factor for the next while. The pounding against the windows, the sheets of water visible by the street lights. Soothes me some.

MS! don’t know if you and Meegz are on Viber, but it’s a free app that you can call free, or text anywhere in the world … wifi based, so you don’t incur international roaming charges, and texting doesn’t suck your data …. google it – it’s a purple icon with a white outline phone in the middle …. email me and I can give you more details if you’re interested …. it’s how I tracked Son all through Europe, Asia, and Dau through South America … Son is viber-ing pics from Israel as we speak …. and the stickers are oh so fun!! …. my whole family and extended family viber all the time!
Love the idea of printing/mailing Dude a ‘supreme ruler/king of the domain’ certificate ….. Dau and SIL deserve that! LOL
KJ, PG gave good advise with the peroxide and the mold … my only other addition to the solution is to also make sure to have fans blowing to dry the area, and plans for future appropriate ventilation … mold likes wet …. Mr. AV is a mold expert for residential homes.

AV, it’s good advice, and in a purrfect world wish I could get Mr. AV to check it out, but in real world plan is to let the A/C guy come up with a plan. I don’t have fans and in any case they would not be able to reach that high, talking almost 8 ft to area of concern. I don’t even know how area is ventilated although there seems to be adequate air circulation or it would not be installed in closet I’d think. I can’t be the first person who’s had this problem and again can’t be sure that it had started when he did yearly check-up, a month ago, but this summer has for sure been steam bath. Anyway it will get sorted out somehow and ASAP. Sorry for going on endlessly but my household c**p has been wearing me down to tired beyond tired and haven’t even gotten around to ordering new washer as yet. Bed. Now.

Thanks for that info AV, I will look into it for the next time a family member travels.
