Tuesday 16-08-2016 – Today is National Tell a Joke Day

AV, twice I’ve swam in the Dead Sea, gr8 for a non-expert swimmer, as due to the mega salt content you float and look like a pro. then you have to wash the murky salt off in outdoor showers. Now no one told me that the showers are 100% salt water and that I should have kept eyes tightly closed – ahhhh! 😮 And that if you’re wearing jewellery that’s not 100% sterling silver it blackens, but toothpaste took care of that one.
TM, I’ve started “Six Gun Tarot” not creeping me out as yet, but I can see where it will be going! Do you get dissed at for being on squeaky bike? Or politely asked to switch bikes? As a TDKer I’d think that you’d be OK with doing this. We’re dealing with one “B”, well it’s not the bike, it’s her shoes/biking style (proven) and she refuses to acknowledge this. “Strangely” bike makes loud noise only when she’s on it. Co-ordinator moved bikes around and this should prove the case. Maybe this girl will just go elsewhere ’cause she is a nasty piece of work.
KZ, no prob venting here. Hope that ZZ Top will relieve your stress somewhat. Lose yourself in the music, purrhaps!
And I’ll prove my venting point it by doing so. This day has to get better as next week will 100% be even more stressful if I can even contemplate this possibility. I get to spin class and power goes out, in n’hood. Now yest was told same thing happened but as mgmt was at some sort of golf tournament class went on, in dark, with battery operated laptop or something like that providing music. Today mgmt was back in full force and while every other class was on, not spinning. For reasons spinning is the only wkt that I can do, aside from what I do at home as weights, Pilates sit-ups and ballet stretch routine, I am at risk of srs breakage should G-d forbid I trip and fall. And this frustrates me. Rules are for other peeps. Instructor stayed and so did KJ. I know my program and don’t need music. Did just about finish when (real nice) security guy and fitness director came to “escort” me out. Can’t get that what was fine yest was not fine today. I have cert to teach so I don’t think I’ll fall off the bike. But this is supposedly liability issue. Did make sure that instructor will now be in trouble. Actually worked out harder than in class, stress has this effect. Then had to bring heavy load of stuff on errand. Thankful for good wheely backpack. It’s like 34C out with heavy rain predicted. Then bus saw peeps coming and would not wait. Now home and fix-it guy will be her this pm. Landlord is dithering about this, I’ll call rental board and see where I stand, it’s not major costs anyway, I presume. Then well for me fun, I get to put my entire self-made walk-in closet back in order.
MS, the washer that I want does not come with hoses, guess it’s not a major deal for me to take fun trip to store for p/u, and no other option.
OK, time for noms, srs coffee, chillin’. Thanks for letting me vent, guys. It just seems to be one thing after another. There will be more pleasant chat coming from this one ere long. 😉

TM, have to see if Shotgun Arcana is anywhere to be found within our city-wide library system, although they do inter-library loans with private libraries. In any case I’d want to read the first book in series before continuing. Now if I buy a book, I tend not to read it.
Same here re gym, but I do get things done there, as in general I tend to be very proactive. LOL. You’re right about how gyms make or do not make money. But today a guy brought friend for first time and was willing to do class with no music/in dark. A no-go so I don’t think friend will come back, was quite disappointed. Now I have yearly membership and spin 6x/wk, so yeah. Worked out that I pay like $2/class. There are quite a few only spin clubs here, but classes are $25 or more per and worked that out too, aside from my gym being 20 mins walk (I don’t drive), membership is around $864/yr with locker for my shoes, etc. Club would cost over $3,000. So I put up. Big typo – meant to say want to make sure that instructor will NOT get into trouble. Really sucks when mgmt gets paid for not doing their jobs. Peeps have suggested that I get elected to Board of Directors, but I don’t need added stress in my life, also suggested that I apply for co-ordinator post, they couldn’t pay me enough to make stress worth it, but I’d get things done. OK, got to get our of rant mode. Like now. 😉

PG, I like your solution (sort of word play?) as H2O2. ‘Cause some of the stuff I read on I’Net scary. How many times have I been told that except for shopping, general things ie books etc and of course RDK, the I’Net is not my friend, yes I have too often called on “Dr. Google” for med advice and it has not gone well for me. In any case I will speak with A/C guy like Sunday and he will get himself here ASAP.
MS, mold area seems small and high up like at 8 ft in srsly enclosed closet. Landlord appreciates my quick action for what it’s worth and I sense he will not argue with me over closet fix at $45. I let him know in no uncertain terms that whatever A/C guy charges I plan to tell him to bill landlord, I plan to not get into any arguments and prob good that I’m catching this while it could be just starting. Extreme humidity could be factor. His other option is to cut short his 2-month vaca and fly back from the glory that is/was Greece (which I will not suggest LOL.) I’m not that snarky. *Yes, you are KJ*
And must begin shoring myself up for stress to come next wk. Is there a point in worrying about it now? No, but easier said than done. Left msg for spin instructor as I don’t want her to get chewed out over my refusing to leave. She has not called on me for help and she is an adult and can handle it. I’m getting just that tired of being “go-to” person. Actually I had no prob seeing in the dark – I am part cat you know – as I venture we all are.
