    Wow, those haboobs are something else! Does the Tucson area ever get them? I remember driving once from phoenix to Tucson once along the interstate, scared of what I’m sure was only a minor dust storm.

    A late afternoon to everyone!…. whew! I just called it quittin time – a LONG day, but got a lot done!

    My guys in NYC are pushing through the unpack/get set up mode…… Son has to attend a 3-hour orientation every day, but he’s hanging in there…..I think Mr. AV tries to nap during that time!….. they said Luna and Venus are adjusting fine, and going with the flow ….. they are very adaptable girls….. getting ready to cook a me meal – scallops, sauteed corn and brocolli yummmmmmmmmmmmmm

    Some ignornant person shot and killed the cat and threw it in the trash, it was someone’s pet who had been missing for a month. Thought it might be, was afraid when I saw the videos and some of the stupid remarks about seeing the cat and that they were afraid it would start to eat children just made me sick to my stomach.

    That poor cat!! People are so narrow minded!! He’s in the meadow now at least he can’t be hurt anymore…things like this make me so upset!

    Well its 3am here just woke with a pounding head.. I hope lainey’s head cleared for her :)….

    AV dinner sounds lovely.I hate to admit it but I’ve never eaten scallops ….

    Hi all. Such sad news that the mystery Detroit cat has been killed, I had a feeling some stupid person would do that if the Rescue group couldn’t find the cat first. Very sad.

    As Buttons says, at least it is in the Meadow now and can’t be hurt anymore.

    Buttons I have a headache too but mine is a post massage headache and should pass soon, I hope your headache does likewise.

    We’ve had a mostly sunny day with a nippy wind, HRH is out and about probably munching grass and scaring crickets.

    AV, Airy and I are coming through the wormhole, your dinner sounds superb.

    We haven’t figured out what we’re having for dinner yet.

    I am sad about Chum, and for his owners. Worried something like this would happen; for the media to repeat about him attacking children after small game became sparse was reckless.

    Yes it sucks that people in that neighborhood were so small minded to kill a beautiful animal because of ignorance.

    BIGGEST LOSER PANCAKES!!! ((SHARE to keep on your page))

    Biggest loser oatmeal & egg white pancakes. They say once you try these, you will never go back. tastes like French toast!

    Ingredients:

    6 egg whites

    1 cup rolled oats, dry

    1 cup cottage cheese

    2 teaspoons sugar

    1 teaspoon cinnamon

    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Instructions:

    In a blender, blend all ingredients until smooth. Heat a griddle or large non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Spray with non-stick cooking spray. For each pancake pour 1/4 cup of batter onto griddle. Flip when they start to bubble. Cook until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batches, spraying the griddle as needed. Makes about 10 pancakes.

    Number of Servings: 3

    Nutritional Info Per Serving:

    181 Calories, 2.7g Fat, 10mg Cholesterol, 361mg Sodium, 20g Carbs, 2.8g
