    Haiku Day Monday
Miss a day of kit Poetry, I think not
    So follow on

Haiku. While it may have an ancient and noble history, it is likely the most ignoble style of poetry. It was originally found as the opening to another form of Japanese poetry called a Rengu. Hendrik Doeff brought Haiku to the Western world.

Another exciting day – It’s pedicure time and then having lunch with a friend. I’m getting caught up on Last Week Tonight.

    Cya l8r and have a jolly~

Hi back CGM! It’s for sure been a while and good to see you.

So I’m out of Passover mode and back into year round mode and like totally wiped. But I will prevail.

Baby toe is almost back to normal, just a small bruise to show for the panic. And spoke with physio who confirmed that it was nothing major. Phew!

PG, this is synchronicity at work – today got email about project which features a haiku! Hmmm …

Saw something very nice on INet, thought I’d share:

Ikea have beeing donating cosy doll beds for cats at an animal shelter

    “Are you feel-ine comfortable?

Prepare to have your heart stolen by these sheltered cats in Canada.

Ikea up and decided to donate 10 Duktig doll beds to cats in need who live at the Etobicoke Humane Society in Ontario, Canada.

Ikea also donated an extra $300 (£239) to the society to provide even more help for these animals.

To us humans, cats lying in tiny little beds is definitely adorable but it means far more to these sweet shelter felines.

In a Facebook post the Etobicoke Humane Society thanked Ikea for their donation saying: “Now the cats are elevated off the cold, hard floor”.

Another report on this from the Toronto Star (Etobicoke is a former suburb just west of Toronto, on Lake Ontario, and is now a district of the city)
https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2017/04/12/orphan-cats-get-purr-sonal-bed-from-ikea.html Many cats like to be above the ground too.
