    Is that frost PG????? Wow!

And here in the “North” we have 35C with humidity factored in!

Yes, it is very hot (always a bit humid here, as we are an island, where two huge rivers converge) but it was also EXTREMELY windy I had more than one gust where I simply stopped cycling, and walked for a bit, as it was unsafe.

May surprise in Denver, is that what one calls a mountain climate, influenced more by altitude than latitude and longitude ?

First day to be working at home in shorts. (I don’t wear shorts outside the house except for yard work and such, or in the very unlikely event of my going camping. My forays into the bush have been more for conferences- casual wear but not shorts).

I am very sad, as Olive a friend/neighbour’s cat has cancer, and is declining quickly. He’s having her euthanised tomorrow, which is wise and good, but I don’t stop crying, I have taken care of her many times. She had a bit of a temper but we love her anyway.

I’m sorry Lagatta. It’s never easy saying goodbye even when we know it’s the right decision. Please give my warmest thoughts to your friend.

Yes, I offered to accompany them to the vet’s, but he preferred to take her there by himself. She first belonged to a boy who was a son of friends of ours, but had to be given up due to severe allergy of another human in that household. The boy is now a very tall young man, and he was there with his dad and his girlfriend. I’ve taken care of her many times when my friend was travelling, whether for business or pleasure. I woke up at 4 a.m. crying but am having a glass of water, a quick shower (I feel itchy as it was very hot and humid today – a pleasant problem after a dismal spring) and going back to bed with Livia. The ailing cat’s name is Olive (pronounced in French).
