    Give your friendly technician(s) some well deserved appreciation. When your ‘puter goes down, they’re invaluable and can get your system back up and running faster than you can say “gigabyte”. Including kit techies – well, purrhaps not so much!

    Sad news just confirmed.
    RIP Tom Petty
    Petty told CNN in a 2007 interview that he loved music as much as it loved him.
    “Music, as far as I have seen in the world so far, is the only real magic that I know,” he said. “There is something really honest and clean and pure and it touches you in your heart.”

    Good morning – the pics are so funny! “I have no idea what I’m doing.” We’ve all been there, little one.

    AV, I’m so glad you checked in with news that son is safe. I wasn’t sure if he was already in Vegas or if he was en route from Egypt.

    I’m so sad to learn of Tom Petty’s passing. I have much of his 40 years of music.

    I’m so sad about Tom Petty. He was right about music being about the only thing magic in the world…it can transform a moment, a day, an attitude…at least for me it can. Thank you Tom for sharing your gift with us.

    Techies…can’t live without them, and some are waaaaay better than others. But oh, how I hate calling tech support. I haven’t had to do that for many years. I wonder why? Either things are getting better, or I’m ‘more better’ than I used to be on the ‘puter…. 😆

    Techies day – I will be counting on them to set me up with all my new “toys”! Otherwise “I have not idea what I’m doing” will def be me. the printer gif kit is me. And if I get frustrated enough it will be “load you piece of cr**p”. ;-(

    OK, time to head back to desk…short staff today…boss has new sales guy on calls with him to break in. Seems like a good fit- knows ropes as salesman just has to learn basic product stats…hopeful he’ll hang around awhile – less work for officmate/moi to delegate 😉
