Catster had a link to this and I thought it had a lot of fun photos to look at, plus good photography tips for those who are interested. (The info gets to be a bit much for the amateur photographer like me, but I like all the pretty black kitties!)

Lots of great advice for photographing black kitties. All of the pictures were wonderful. I happen to like pictures of animals posing on “non-animal” colors so I can really see them, but I like all of the pictures. I also liked the red and pink soft-claws.

I took an awesome photo of Leela and Comet last Halloween. Comet was just a young kid so his eyes came out a different color. The only problem was that they were in front of a window and part of the background was dark. It was cool seeing baby eyes and grown-up eyes!

Thank you, I wouldnt say I am a great photographer for I only use my cell phone to take pictures. I think it is because I stalk them with the camera and stap a billion pictures until I get a few good pictures.

What a great article! As you can see from my avatar, Tikka is a beautiful black kitty, and I was always challenged to get a good picture of her. However, she obviously knew what colours complimented her the best!
