    I believe that would be Dorry protecting Miss Leela’s delicate ears. Expecting some consideration in return, he can hope!
    It’s your call, but I’d go with the natural hair colour as opposed to risking hives. etc, AV. You don’t want to be all swollen and blotchy for dau’s wedding. JJ’s right about grey, I know of several peeps who go with the colour that time gives them and they look fab. Agree with others that one can always cut hair, but can’t put it back on. When I first went super short, I did it in stages, about a week apart, less traumatic, ’cause yes a bad hair day is just that! For some reason I never like my hair until day after it’s cut, it sorta “falls in,” not logical, but there it is.
    And Mr. AV really needs to be careful when in DIY mode, I’m sorta learning from exp as don’t want to repeat incident where I fell off of a ladder and hurt my ribs. Actually I have been warned about climbing ladders when alone, and still don’t listen ’cause when something needs doing it must be done now! My point is that while I give advice I don’t put it into practice.

    Hey all..

    We don’t celebrate guy Fawkes night here in Ireland at all. It is a celebration of his death after all and he was very sympathetic to the Irish in those days and he was a man for a socialist party one for the people so he had some radical but I think correct ideas..

    I remember that poem too Lenny…

    Remember remember the 5th of November the gun powder treason and plot,
    I know of no reason why the gun power treason should ever be forgot.

    Most people in Ireland know nothing about Fawkes..

    And KJ one of my favorite films is V for vendetta!!!! I’m obsessed with that movie and it has my fav song in it too.. “Cry me a river” the original 🙂

    AV I hope Mr AV had no more injuries! And I agree with everyone I would grow out your hair 🙂

    KZ that light bulb moment 😆 mat have scared the be-Jesus outa ya!!! ( Irish slang ) hope it didn’t scar any kitties..

    I should take a leaf outa your book Joan and start walking .. Huuummm I do take the doggies down the field everyday though..

    PG I’m sure I’ve said it before here but I LOVE the snow I wish I had it here in West Cork but they don’t ever get any. We used to get it bad in the Wicklow mountain though I miss that most!

    I pretty tired of late and haven’t been able to check in .. The puppies I’m fostering are A LOT of work.. I mean A LOT!!!

    Two are very touch and go.. I have them on antibiotics but they seem to be improving so I’m happy about that but still no guarantees.. And the other three have trapped wind & constipation issues that I think I’ve got sorted now.. I’m still up feeding them every 3 hours.. And the smallest one was 120grams on Tuesday and she now weighs 140gram and the other sickly one has gone from 140grams to 180grams 🙂 the others are all around 210grams and are gaining weight too …..so weight gain is good I just pray they continue to improve and when I come to wean them onto mush they are fighting fit and I won’t worry about them because at that stage the owner will be taking them back.. I just want them to make it through the syringe feeding with me and be strong on the other end!

    You’re simply marvellous for taking care of those wee puppies!
    No Guy Fawkes stuff here either. Loved the end scene of “V” with everyone wearing those Guy Fawkes masks and taking back their rights!

    Hahahahaaaaaa Oh Buttons, you made me laugh with the “trapped wind” comment–I know it’s probably not funny but it just hit me funny. And the irish slang must be the same as the MidWestern slang here too, because I know I did get the beJesus scared out of me today! Oh and btw, new light fixture bought and hung…heh heh!

    That’s one of my favourite scenes too KJ 🙂 I have a feeling Dorry probably loves that film too.. It’s his kinda style

    Glad it’s all fitted out again KZ … Oh trapped wind would be so painful KZ … Another side effect to bottle babies 😆 but if I’m simulating them to go poop I’m happy if I hear them toot even if they don’t poop 😆 if they toot it means no trapped wind ..

    Just had another feed with them.. They are all very lively now coming to the front of the cage when they hear me.. And they cry for their food now they Didn’t really do that before..

    But now I have such relief when they poop! As I’m sure they do too 🙄
