    In the Northern Hem literally looking on the bright side may be a bit difficult today, as it’s the shortest day of the year!

    Good morning! Yeah, this early darkness doesn’t really agree with me. I’m no good for anything after the sun goes down. Older son was asking me to help him figure put one of his guitar songs last night. I finally told him we’d have to figure it out the next day when there’s sun in the sky.

    Finished my last house before Christmas yesterday. Now running some errands, cleaning house and baking for the next few days. Hubby’s folks will come for a night or two at Christmas.

    I love the cold…the smell and the feel of it much better than hot, humid weather. But I have a warm stove to come back in to warm my bones again! I don’t like ice, but we are predicted to have snow for Christmas, only a couple of inches so that is manageable.

    I am looking forward to seeing more light creeping in especially in the evenings. Morning darkness I love, nighttime makes me feel like I have to finish everything before it gets dark. I feel like hibernating, like my cats I guess!

    Only 10 hours of nap! 😆

    This is the worstest day ever! Today means were on our way to summer and hot weather. Boo Hiss!



    I agree about the darkness. It makes the evening seem so much longer so if they would quit messing with DST…*sigh*

    We got about 2″ snow but at least it’s snow. Miss Gaea is annoyed.

    For those who like it, enjoy the Solstice.
