This Special Day celebrates the birthday of the author of Roget’s Thesaurus. Peter Roget was born on this day in 1779. The Thesaurus lists synonyms (words with the same or similar meaning) for words. It allows you to avoid repetition in writing and speeches. It also lists antonyms … words with opposite meaning.

“What kind of dinosaur is a thesaurus?” Lol…love that. I guess it’s “the” dinosaur of all dinosaurs.

Today I’ll spend some time getting ready for the geography class I help teach on Fridays. I feel bad that I always wait until Thursday to prepare, but oh well, it’s a good day for me…no house to clean and that routine is working. The mom I co-teach with always waits until Thursday too, so at least we’re on the same page there. We’re on Europe now. Just Asia and Australia remaining.

KZ, so glad your hubby put on his hero cape and found that dog yesterday…lucky dog!

Saw a glimpse of Maine Coon/from behind at nomz this AM – not sure if it was MC or newbie, someone posted was missing MCoon in n’hood…hmmm.

Hee hee…sort of, he’s all of ours in purrfect TDK Land.
Tuxie is the Cafe’s Mascot. I’ve referred to him as that many times thru the years. You can find references to him in many earlier posts 🙂

Today’s cafe is a challenge, test, quagmire, expostulation…Classic synonyms for dong! 😆 ECB-If it weren’t for the last minute, I’d never get anything done!

I have to get my heart beating so I’m going to do stuff after my coffee.

Afternoon all,

In my very own n’hood a spanking new store just opened up like 2.5 wks ago in an old bank. It’s awesome (mind-blowing, wonderful, magnificent, breathtaking, zero cool …) 😉

All sorts of stuff. Like the satchel that I bought me today. Way low price, no taxes. Hard to describe, it’s black on one side, brown on the other with faux snakeskin on the sides. Someone said it reminds them of a “Birkin” or “Vuiton” designer bag. Plus it comes with an extra handle which will work on other bags.

A tiny bit like this (same mfr) but mine has way more hardware so IMHO it’s keweler!

Place also has shoes and even home decor. I feel like I’m going to get way friendly with sales peeps.;-)
