Bastille Day is the French Independence Day celebrated on July 14. Like the U.S Independence Day there are fireworks, parades and stuff!

The rain was comforting but I’m wondering about the mountain goat. I rarely remember my dreams.
That’s a whole lotta exercise you got KJ. I hope the shower and Epson Salt soak helps get rid of the soreness.

It’s one o’clock in the morning and Miss Gaea is annoyed. She thinks because I’m awake she should be able to be outside some more. I started the series Penny Dreadful and I can’t stop.

akshully Iz gettin tired an not followin dis episoed.
(I love my LOL Speak translator) 😆

Good morning everyone. Well we did get some rain, don’t know how much, haven’t checked the gauge, but enough to really make a difference. The garden and my plants all look refreshed with their leaves up instead of down, and the corn and beans look so much better also. They take so much water, but hopefully it won’t be so long between showers!
MS, you made me chuckle about Mr. MS being home with a cold….ewwww! Nothing worse than a man laying on the couch not feeling well. Means he has control of the remote AND your time! 😛

PG, that pic is so true, and also a woman had to go get all that stuff for him because he’s too sick to be able to–plus he doesn’t know where you keep the tea, the thermometer, or anything else that isn’t sitting right by his chair!! 😆

Good morning – Happy Bastille Day! It’s ‘soupy’ here today, high humidity with a chance of storms later.
My Jiggs was around for 16 years and I don’t think he was ever called “Jiggy Piggy” – missed opportunity!

Concats MS and PG on 2 terrif crossovers! 😉
Same weather here JJ! Let’s just say that one would wise to have an umbrella on hand as off and on it looks like the sky is going to explode. Purrhaps a tad less fearsomely hot than yesterday but warning still in effect and still sauna-esque.
I’m going to have me a baguette today in honour of Bastille Day!

Afternoon all! …. a frustrating day trying to get work done, with an internet that takes 3-4 minutes literally to load a page :/ the provider is sending out a tech to work on it, we couldn’t reset it from the modem or from their office remotely, so hopefully he’ll be here soon ….

I didn’t have a baguette (no shortage of baguettes here in Montréal) because I made a layered dish with haddock, red onions, garlic, fresh herbs from my balcony and a wonderful kind of yellow fingerling potatoes called Gabrielle – those are available at IGA as well as public markets.

It was horribly muggy, but after a summer cloudburst, the air is much clearer, and Livia (the little black cat) is happy.

lagatta, so the wee black kit now has a name – Livia – and what a strong and lovely choice! 🙂
JK, the French accordion kit is awesome! Rush is one of my all-time fave groups.

Good afternoon all, another cold and wild windy day here with rain about to arrive.
I am taking HRH Shadz to the v.e.t to get a steroid injection as she has the sneezles and sniffles which means her herpes is playing up with the cold weather. She has made it several months further this year before needing the steroid which I put down to the Lysine everyday. It has been so wonderful and she is so much stronger in herself than she usually is at this stage of Winter.
PG, I seldom ever remember my dreams but that mountain goat was so real and oh! it was real but a mountain kit called Shadz. 😉
LOL at Miss Gaea thinking she should be outside just because you are awake, cat thinking is different to human thinking that’s for sure. Love the cat that didn’t do it.
KZ, yay ! it rained on your crops and garden. Hope this isn’t the only rain for a while though. Yes the TV remote is now in his hands. Thankfully he is sounding and feeling a lot better.
PG, He he he he he so true. 😆 😆
KJ, we have a similar sky. Parts of the country has tornado warnings out.
    AV, hang in there –
you will be up to light speed soon.
Lagatta love the name Livia for the wee black cat.
Very sad to read about the terrible incident in Nice following the Bastille Day celebrations.
    Positive Vibes for France.

The accordion playing kit is funny!
I hope you got your internet up and running AV. Is Mr. AV home yet?

Nobody sings like Getty Lee…Rocking Rush! 😀

Miss Livia is a beautiful name for the wee black kit Lagatta.

It’s good that HRH is doing better with Lysine and not needing steroids as often now.

Today was a lovely day. The temp. was a mild 85f/29c with a cool breeze. Friday is suppose to be the same and then next week we’ll be in the 100s. *heavy sigh*

Another tragedy. When does it end. Sadly there don’t seem to be any answers. 🙁 😡
