Prowling free in the Café jungle are lions and tigers oh my! Beware – those seemingly cuddly kits gambolling on the path may look like our own cuties, but Mama may very well be hiding nearby. 😮

Today’s earworm – chose to desist from resisting!

If I were to live anywhere else it would definitely be NYC! 😎

Good afternoon from Thursday. The sun is shining – for now. The winds are rising towards gales and it was a ccccold night and morning, even colder than yesterday.
The ‘little bugger’ or rather ‘not so little bugger’ was caught finally last night. Now we will find out if it has a partner in crime.
    😀
HRH ate some raw fish and cold chicken for lunch 😀 😀 I am so happy.
JJ, we have similar weather but without the flurries, don’t get them this far north at sea level.
JK, wow they breed little black cats tough in your area, great video.
KJ, strange that you can’t click on the daily kitten ‘read more’. Then again KM may have remedied the problem by the time I got there.
KZ, we’ve all posted in the wrong thread a time or two. Just like sending the txt to the wrong person, I did that yesterday but thankfully it was just to sister KK. Phew ! Not sure what you mean by not seeing posters.

I said I wasn’t going to do much today. I was sweeping the bathroom and noticed there was litter around the base of the sink…3 hours later and I had scrubbed the tile in the bathroom and kitchen.

I’m going to relax with a bit of the herb. Have a happy~

MS, congratulations! A partner is crime is very likely, alas.

Had to laugh at the cheetah lap cat because Sampson gazes at me with the same drippy expression. I hope for Kim’s sake that the cheetah does not insist on riding on her shoulder and giving her sloppy kisses and love bites!

Good morning from Thursday here in Ohio–where the temperature and the wind speed seem to coincide! Up into the 70’s today with wind gusts up to 50 mph…makes it hard to enjoy the outdoors… 😳

MS, what I meant about not seeing posters was in the topics and replies sections you used to see the person’s name beside the thread when they posted a reply. Now if you move your cursor over it, it will give you the first few words of a reply–not knowing if that was my own post or someone else’s especially in giving advice on people looking for help with their kittens is a little frustrating. In the scheme of things it’s not a big deal. 😉

Avery is asleep on the sofa, so I think I’ll go grab a quick shower and I hope to be back later!

Congrats on catching the bugger, MS. You can bet there is a partner in crime. I read about putting colored powder on the floor. When the buggers walk through it, you could see where they go and possibly close their access. Miss Gaea is like HRH. She used to go for the critters. Now, meh!

We just had that wind/warm yesterday, KZ. Today, not as bad but tonight the winds will be from the north so our temps. are dropping into the 40f.

Kittyzee, that gives us some hope a bit east (and north, in my case). I have a friend who is a visiting professor this month at Cornell University in Ithaca NY, south of here but on higher ground. They have the same cr*ppy weather we do. But I don’t think the temps are particularly nice in Paris where he lives either…

I love cats large and small, but it is very important to NEVER have a cat bigger than you are… They are carnivores after all.

Not at all carnivorous, a hearty Greek spinach, feta and white bean salad. I’d use Italian cannellini beans (a kind of white kidney bean); you can use anything, but I don’t think the beans used for baked beans would work well in this. https://www.olivetomato.com/mediterranean-spinach-salad-feta-cheese-white-beans/

I’m having fish, with green chard, onion and orzo pasta. Livia is having cat food… and cuddles. She had a good run outside in our garden earlier; that means she isn’t bothering me as I work.

Oh no! Dorry’s bigger than I am! And he’s a little guy, but so am I! 😆

Some tiny wild cats are beyond adorable – but beware!

And look at these cuties – sand cats:

“Sand Cats look like smaller versions of our domesticated pets. But don’t let size fool you, they are wild.” (thepetwiki.com)

Those teensy pointy tails – squeeeeee!!!!!

I adore those. I think our cats evolved from something similar, and managed to domesticate humans; worship us, and we’ll keep your granaries free of vermin, as well as simply bask in our beauty.

Lagatta, your salad sounded so good that when I went grocery shopping today, I picked up the ingredients for it. The white cannellini beans were easy to find, along with the other ingredients. I hope you get some of this nice weather we are having even though it’s supposed to snow here again in a few days. I have to laugh at this weather it’s so crazy. Today was so warm that I was uncomfortable, my body isn’t used to outside temperatures of 77 degrees!

I would love to have me one of those sand kits! Guess the closest/safest route for us hoomins is to adopt a pale golden tabby (or any other kit for that matter!)

    KZ – 77 degrees???? Wow!

Meanwhile here’s what we’re expecting in my n’hood:
    “April winter-like storm
Quebec in line for heavy snow and ice with potent storm”

Supposed to be wretched on Caturday, snow and/or freezing rain. 😥 Thankfully I will be inside the entire day as per usual.

Yet tomorrow they say it will be 10 degrees C. I don’t get it! But this means kewel new raincoat weather. And opp to sport the snazzy huge umbrella that I bought today to replace the one that I left on the bus the other week.

Just had power failure and lights came back in time for me to have a hot café au lait which I need badly. Going through a stressful time.

Think I’ll open Fri. Café just in case lights deek out again, cause no electricity means no I’Net. 🙁
