Perfect theme for this election here in the US. :). Secret service cat is funny. My cats are still young and spry enough that I wish I had some still shots of them getting airborne sometimes.

Long story short…I met someone in our neighborhood and we went for a walk together last night. She has a son turning thirteen next week and it sounds like our kids have a lot in common. So nice. We had a bit of a bumpy transition moving here and I feel like we’re just catching our breath and I suddenly realized I haven’t done a good job of making friends. Oh and she’s a cat person. :).

Of course AV, prayers for son and his safety always. Hope he enjoys himself! You are right about God putting people in your life (and also taking them out) at the right times. It doesn’t always seem that way when it happens, but hindsight is 20/20. Sorry you are having so much rain, and here I am wishing we could get more. Forecast calling for it, but it never appears.
ECB, so glad you met someone close who you can talk to and share with. It’s especially nice since you are surrounded by boys/men and now you have a female to talk girl things with!! And a cat purrson–what could be better?!

Goodmorning all. Yay, each day here at the moment is slightly warmer than the previous day. Roll on Spring. We also don’t have rain so far today so the washing line is full making the most of the breeze as the sun hasn’t bothered to shine through the clouds today. Doors and windows are open to air the house even though it is still nippy and HRH has decided to snuggle up beside me. I heard that ‘hicka’ ‘hicka’ sound this morning and checked on HRH out on the deck but it wasn’t her, guess it was the neighbours dog.
ECB, it is lovely you have found a neighbour that is a cat lover and has a son a similar age to one of your boys. I hope the boys enjoy each others company too.
AV, sending Positive Vibes for son. Daughter and hubby are travelling across the ditch to the parched land to our west at the moment. more rain? Wow you are getting quite a bit this year. Time you put your tutu on and sent that rain up to KZ. Just remember to pirouette in the right direction.

PG, sorry about the uncomfortable dental visit and your poor tongue. I hope you feel much better soon. I remember getting mouth numbing injection that had me as high as a kite and alternately felling euphoric and then nauseous. Never had an injection after that for years. Too scary. I agree that the US elections are going to be interesting this year from afar. We are certainly getting plenty of news daily of the goings on from both sides and we shake our heads in wonder.
Almost noon and we have hit the daily high of 15C/59F and there is the hint of yellow light squeezing through the grey clouds.
