Today is the day to lay it all on the line, and take a chance. It’s up to you to decide what (if any) risks are worth taking. Not to encourage gambling of course (‘cept for kitties.)

Ah yes! – a kit who “understands” KJ! 😉

PG, soooo happy to see ya! 🙂

MS, Shooooooos! Yet again great minds … 😆 😉

Goodness, peering outside my window, in the streetlamp I can see blizzardy snow raging!!! Hope it calms down some by the a.m.! Guess it’s time to snuggle up in bed with the one and only Dorry.

Just watching the Canadian Mens Floor Exercises at the Commonwealth Games.
This time the Games are in a time zone that puts the viewing in prime time and we can get to see lots of sport. Just a 2 hour time difference which is nothing really.

Good morning – shoooooes! That’s how we say it where I work. Got it from the way doc’s grandson says it. Fitting, since we sell diabetic shoes in addition to providing podiatric services.

Found a nickel while cleaning out a corner yesterday. Hmmm, should I invest it or spend it? Should I gamble it? What does a nickel buy these days?

    @kittenmaster
    – AV/AbigailViolet has been unable to log on for the past few days. Would you please check to see if something is blocking her at your end? Thanks!

It’s sunny and still windy and cold here in Jersey. The wood burner is going so Miss Leela is pleased. I’m working on keeping up the spring cleaning momentum till I go to work later.

@Kittenmaster – KZ is also unable to log on. Thanks for any help that you can provide.

It is beyond windy and cold here!!!!! My hands actually ache and I was wearing all the warm winter gear. It’s scary when I get pushed around by a strong wind – in a direction that I am not wanting to go, ie into traffic! 😮

After gym I brought in my taxes to acct. Office is way the other side of the city – and of course had to wait like 30 min for bus both ways. *Sigh*

Came home and turned on heat full blast. This should help.

When I had part-time dept store job in school we had the cash registers like in JK’s pics. And at first copywriting job I used a “Royal” typewriter. And carbon paper. When I advanced to an electric typewriter I was amazed at it’s speed. No photocopiers, no ‘puters, no cell phones. And yet we managed! 😉

…lalala These are the good old days…lalala…back on flip kits!

That cat on the register really emphasizes ‘No refunds, Only exchanges.’

How did the floor exercises go, MS?

Don’t you need a 30 lb. weight to keep you from blowing away, KJ?

Tomorrow is opening day for the baseball season. The Colorado Rockies are scheduled to play but we’re getting rain/snow mix. The horror! 😮

    Indeed I do PJ!

Purrhaps I could go with steel-toed boots, but that would send the wrong msg. 😛

    Or “cement overshoes” – nope!

Or purrsonal bodyguard – which is not happening in the near future – or ever for that matter! 😉

I wouldn’t pick a fight with that srs looking cash register tabby!

Same weather predicted for my n’hood tomorrow. Spring seems to have gone AWOL – prior to her arrival!

Hello everybody!! The great and powerful Kittenmaster has got me back on the site!! I had to clear everything out of my browser and all my cookies–which means I’m having to sign in to every site I have visited or shopped on–GAAAHHHHH!!!!! But hey, I’M BACK!!

So good to see everyone again. Hey it’s chilly here too, and we had serious rain on Monday and Tuesday–flash floods everywhere. We were lucky our creek didn’t flow into the yard, probably because Mr. KZ has the gates lifted for winter and no cattle in the lot to escape under bridges.

I’ll try and be back later–gotta sort out supper!

    Hi KZ,

    Yay!!!!!!! You’re back!

Before I head on out to holiday as last 2 days of Passover, I’m going to post a thread with the awesome KM’s advice for anyone having probs getting onsite.

Have a gr8 couple of days all! I should be back onsite Caturday nite, either before or after I organize my kitchen for post-Passover.

I have zero interest in gambling, and rarely in board or card games, except when Livia steps in and turns everything upside-down, as she did in the “card shark” photo. I need new shoes, but also have to have my old favourites re-heeled.

In Paris, I celebrated Mimouna with Jewish friends who are a “mixed marriage” – he is a Canadian of Polish descent, and she a native Parisienne of Moroccan descent. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mimouna And I was glad I’d taken them maple syrup!
