    I worked as a switchboard operator in Germany for a year and that is the same panel(s) that we had 🙂 The cat sitting like a human was too cute.

    Sitting here paying bills, joy joy…..figuring out how broke I am.

    Have been looking for the last addy we had for PaulaJeanne and danged if I can find it on the links 🙁

    Morning, folks. Gearing up for my 2 least favorite days at the new job, show days where all I do is proofread c**p. *sigh* I am so sick of work, I can’t tell you. And sick of pretty much everything else, too.

    The first farm we were on had a party line, that was 5-6 separate houses on the same line, I can remember we were the letter S. Not a great letter in the Morse code to have for a ring.

    HRH was disturbed by a large truck rumbling down the road and back again and after a supper she has decided she HAS to be outside so I’m waiting for her to do what she has to do and come back in.

    Ugh! bills, I did mine yesterday and the account is badly bent. Power costs an arm and a leg.

    SIGH ! Just checked my Lotto ticket and yet another week has gone by with no win.

    Jan, when I worked for the County as a 9-1-1 operator/dispatcher, one of the very small towns had 5 phone lines and everyone was on a party line (this was 10-15 years ago) and when we called for the volunteer fire department….everyone would pick up 🙂 Didn’t win the Lotto here either, 48 workers in Pennsylvania did though.

    I think it was the Advanced Care Hospital of Montana in Billings.

    Well shoot, that isn’t it, I just called and she is not a patient there. Thought for sure that was the one, will have to try and send her niece an email and hope she gets back with us. I know that the family had wanted to move her to somewhere else for long term care.

    If anyone has her niece’s email addy or contact with her on FB, maybe we can find out where she currently is being treated.
