TGI Friday Cafe … 6/6/2012 !!!

Yes–I know this is an icky topic, but if I eat and then drink I cannot hold down food. If I drink water about 30 minutes before I eat, I find I eat less and hold down food. It is helpful–the group I belonged to fter surgery all did the same. When we switched order we all had issues.

Pizza Hut delivered AV–was supposed to go to friends for the fireworks. Due to a change in schedule husband isn’t in yet. Plane just landed so I figure he will be here in a few hours. We are opting out of the plans this evening–a little sad, but will get over it!

Daughter is doing okay. Sherlock is not enjoying his medicine, but it is helping! Making a game out of it–some how he isn’t enjoying the game 😉

I take that wrestling stance–we roll across the floor as I pry open his mouth–in goes the pill! Slamming jaws shut and then alligator wrestling until he swallows! Untangling Basset feet and human arms and legs, wiping dog slobber off, and then sitting looking at each other. Cough–out comes the pill. The dance starts over! He is taking 4 pills twice a day. I swear it is an aerobic work out!!

Just stopping in to say hello to whoever is here. Glad to hear Sherlock is doing better SM. It’s been over 90* here everyday. We are in the mid-Atlantic states and have been experiencing power outages caused by the recent storms. Not a lot of trees down in my immediate neighborhood, but the surrounding area got quite a bit of damage. Hope you are all doing okay.

I really don’t know if he hates the game or not–he wags his tail the entire time. Have I mentioned that tail is a dangerous weapon? Like being whipped!

Off to follow the yellow brick road to ‘that place’ and to begin my week, fa la la and all that stuff.

Watched the Mega Bucks RV show (not the actual name but it fit for me) on HGTV, quite impressive ones. The ones I liked best were the two for Will Smith, one for his road trips with the family along and the other for his golf practices and dailies to be shown…both were two story expandable ones, very cool.
