Kitties are a bit tired, for they had a typical slumber party, which means they didn’t get much sleep! They are slowly coming to, grooming each other, admiring their claw-dicures, stretching and cleaning up.
In the kitchen, some of the more, um, mature kitties who got a good nights sleep are on the job and making all kinds of goodies. All of your favorite noms and bevvies have been prepared, and a trial run of a Thanksgiving feast is being prepared for a bit later, with leftovers tomorrow. They are also testing recipes for a vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner. Not from America? Don’t worry, TDK has no boundaries!
Chef kitties await your custom order.
    Welcome!

Good morning all! Thanks for opening the café, Joan. A sleepy kit just handed me a cup of coffee and went back to lie down in the sun. We’re off to the electronic recycling graveyard today, with a load of old monitors, keyboards and other assorted stuff. Hope everyone has a wonderful day (night) and weekend as well.

Buttons is very excited about the thanksgiving trial run… Being An Irish kitty he’s never experienced thanksgiving so he’s getting very excited!! He’ll be the first through the wormhole on the 28th 🙂

Hope everyone is having a good Caturday :))

Morning, all. Just had to share this http://cuteoverload.com/2013/11/23/autumns-whiskers/

Oh, and I forget if there are any other “Sherlock Holmes” fans out there in “TDK” land, but if so, I learned something awesome today. Scotland Yard’s computer system for major crimes investigations is called the Home Office Large Major Enquiry System, or HOLMES 🙂

interesting trivia, Kilroy! ….. I love “Sherlock Holmes”, and I even like the new TV series ‘Elementary’ ….. kind of a modern twist, but I like it…..

…. looks like a slowish Caturday for everyone….. I’ve been ‘Hazeling’ up a storm today, I have renewed my war with the ‘dust bunny batallion’……. just my luck my system has decided to have a reaction to ‘dust mites’ ……so now I have to viligantly clean/dehumidify my house ….. a daunting task for a 104 year old home in Florida! ……. *gripes*

…. but, 2 bottles of Windex, cans of Lysol and some Borax and I know I’ll sleep better tonight! ……. who knew windex worked so well on hardwood floors!

Hi AV! *waving* I’m smiling at “pinked”; I had to fix a couple of things in my earlier post to unpink them.

I’m not a fan of Elementary but I think I’ve mentioned that I’m a HUGE fan of Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch. Just got some good news about Season 3; PBS won’t be cutting scenes out of the episodes to make them fit around the stupid commercials. PBS is giving the show 2 whole hours, so they can fit in ads and behind the scenes goodies – YAY! 🙂 Because some of the cuts in Seasons 1 & 2 were awful and made the episodes make NO sense.

I like the Sherlock series too, that’s Son’s favorite!

… I told him about the babies at the zoo, I hope he goes and checks them out……

…. made a big pot o picadillio today, taking it tonight for family dinner….. yummy!

… have a great evening everyone! …. will try to peek in later for the pj party.

Daughter absolutely adores Benedict Cumberbatch as Holmes, and obviously I LOVE the books as my dog is named Sherlock, so that was a really interesting tidbit Kilroy!

Made marinara and took the left overs and made a lasagna. I am trying to get a bunch of stuff done, but I think I am running short on hours in a day!

I’m pretty sure someone’s posted pics of Cat Island in Japan before, but these photos are just begging to be shared

I fell in love with Sherlock in written form–she fell in love with Benedict Cumberbatch!

🙂 🙂 🙂 I will say, I did both. I also fell in love with the Sherlock scripts, which are mostly brilliant.

Thanks for opening a fun lounge Joan! It seems that some of the kitties are still “into” PJ party. I just tried to order me a steaming latte and a pretty angora told me she’ll have to find a boy kitty to prepare it – she doesn’t want to spoil her “claw-dicure”.

Hi Buttons, hope kitty Buttons eventually made it back to the PJ party! And that you got some rest. I truly take my Sabbath (day of rest) quite literally – just got out of bed around 6 pm EST (of course with awake breaks to feed Dorry LOL).

MS, if you come in hope you’re feeling better. In the meantime a TLC Twosome have been dispatched to NZ through the wormhole:

Looks like I must fend for myself re latte etc. Oh well! Later I’d think and maybe there’ll be an NS, ‘tho so cosy here not sure I’d want to move.

Hi Joan *waves* I believe Dorry has a crush on Miss Leela, she’s all he keeps meowing about. It’s his first crush, he’ll probably get over it LOL.

Tonight is Bountiful Basket….it is FREEZING out there!! Literally! Husband is going, I am not allowed in the dark and at this temperature…I can’t move well. A fear of a fall is pretty real. Yesterday we cooked for the Elks as they donate money for the dinner and the place for us to host the Christmas party for the Boys and Girls Home. We were told to plan on 120…we had about 70. Considering the Winter Weather Warnings I think this was a good turn out! We were thrilled to be able to do this for such a great group of people! I started the toiletry bags for all the kids, have bought gifts for my angel and daughter has an angel this year, and started working on the Santa gifts. Have to get the card for the service men over seas sent out too..lots to do and it is all igniting that Christmas Spirit!

Freezing here too + wind chill which definitely helps (not!). The “s” word predicted!

Evening all. Just popping in before snuggling in my bed with the kitties. Doc gave me Celebrex yesterday and I do feel some improvement in my jaw pain. Matter of fact moved it alot and her a lot of popping noises and then it really started feeling better. Don’t know what that means! It does also seem to help my headache a bit, too. Have the MRI’s scheduled for 12/7 along with my r/s mammo (was in the hospital when it was scheduled so I missed it).

Having my ups and downs. I’m still “rageful” and hate-filled when it comes to Amy and him and Amy. Please pray for me that this rage and hate will be removed my from my heart and soul.

Well I’m off. Boys and I say thank you for the party yesterday and last night. They are all zonked out on the bed. Hopefully I can find a few inches between them to snuggle!

    Night night

Hi everyone! That must have been some pj party, I don’t think Leela has been out of bed all day! Oooh, Dorry, eh? Miss Leela doesn’t share much with me about boys. *blushes*
It’s been getting colder and windy here. I forgot to get something at the store, and was going to make a quick trip down the mountain just to get it done and out of the way, and it’s snowing. It’s windy and cold and snowing and the snow is blowing and my comfy summertime hammock is covered with snow.
    I didn’t go out.
My chimney can be stubborn on windy days, so instead of having smoke back up into the house, I’m just going to stay cozy upstairs with my kitties. After Comet has dinner, he will probably come up and sing. I do find his songs to Leela interesting and different from when he sings to everyone.

Husband got to location and no one there–after a little hunting found out that they moved. Wish we knew that before he was out driving.

JBBM I am hoping that you are able to see someone to talk about these feelings.
