Since KJ is celebrating Hanukkah, I’m attempting to start the TDK cafe.

If you celebrate Christmas in December, it’s time to go a-caroling.

When we’re all tuckered out from the day then we can enjoy the treats cooked up by the Cafe Chefs for National Sangria Day.

I don’t know how I missed this but Cat Herders Day was on December 15th.

    Happy Caterday to All.

Tiddles had to admit that the vet visit had improved his voice for singing the Christmas solo.

Not everyone sings Carols and that is because it takes all sorts to make the World. How boring it would be if we were all the same.

Hi PG & MS. Comet is the singer in the family, often trying out new tunes in the pre-dawn hours.
Count me in for sangria! Not a red wine fan here, but I enjoy making & drinking sangria if I get some red wine (you know how some wines are in gift packs of 2 – red & white). Must be all the fruit – so refreshing

Waving to PG, Joan and Buttons.
Sangria sound perfect Joan and the sun is well over the yardarm here, in fact there is less than 20 minutes to midnight.
PG, I love the lit that didn’t appreciate his drinking mates sense of humour. LOL
Joan, how cute that Comet tries out new songs in the pre-dawn hours – NOT.
Buttons, tiddles is so cute with his choirboy ‘O’ of a mouth. I guess he would be classed as a castrato singer.
Off to make a hot chocolate even though it’s a muggy evening, we had thick sea fog earlier and then heavy rain, now it’s drizzling and HRH Shadz is sitting on the front porch watching the drops fall. Weird cat!

I have a mug of hot chocolate and a slice of our daughter made. The perfect way to end the evening before heading to bed.
Nighty night my friends, see you on the flip side.

What a pretty goodnight pic, MS. Sweet dreams.

Thanks for opening the cafe, PG. Such funny photos! Love the “mortal peril” and “blame the doggies” ones. Poor shaved kitty, though!

Gonna head out to get just a few more things, mainly stocking stuffers. Luckily, there are a few stores right down the street from me that should meet my needs. The traffic would be crazy otherwise, I think. Got some house cleaning to do too. I’ve been slacking off on that lately…what is the saying about the shoe makers kids going without shoes?

Peeking in, no worries I have a face mask on so my coughing won’t get anyone sick or yucky feeling…..have a cough and an ear ache ๐Ÿ™

Has anyone used silver solution for cuts, scrapes and the like? I have a heck of a scrape on my middle finger (no clue how it happened, maybe while the kitty race track goes on while I am sleeping) but trying it to see if it works better.

You mean colloidal silver, Deb? I’ve used it once or twice on me and a couple of times on the cats. Not sure how it works, honestly….Betadine might have been just as good. My bottle broke recently when it fell out of the medicine cabinet. ๐Ÿ™

Good morning everyone! Well, didn’t get any Hazeling done yesterday as Avery’s mom, Avery and hubby came down to get out of the house for a while. Great visit though and we all did supper together. The house can sit and wait for me, I’ve got family I’d rather spend time with, right? Yup, it still needs swept and dusted this morning, so glad it waited for me… ๐Ÿ˜‰
Happy Hanukkah KJ, hope it’s a beautiful, sparkling one and restful too.
Love the kitty pics and absolutely love the video…such a treasure with the cowboys using a hair removal brush on their jackets and talking about scratches…LOL! Good Job Pg!!!
Feel better Deb, UGH, seems everybody has something around here right now, and the dreaded norovirus is taking people out, which is what I think I had last week. Have never used silver solution for anything, will have to check it out.
Hi Buttons, good to see you and hope your day at work is great, but being the last Saturday before Christmas…it may be busy!
Waving to Joan, ECB, MS (beautiful nighty night pic!), have a good sleep and see you all later!

Hi Buttons, ECB, Deb & KZ. Nighty night MS.
That choir kitty face is so unusual! Pic snapped at the right part of a yawn, perhaps?
I’m with you on the housekeeping, ECB. Have a feeling we’ll be stashing a lot of stuff upstairs for Christmas Day so the living room & kitchen look presentable.
Deb, I hope you feel better and don’t wind up with a full blown case of the crud. I use betadine on cuts too.
KZ, that messy house certainly takes a back seat to family time – the dust will wait for you!

    Waves at Joan, ECB, KZ!

ECB, all I had was the colloidal silver with me and this skin irritation is driving me nutty.

I have a messy house too but no N-R-G to do anything with it, sad to say

Feel better, Deb!! I dont know about the silver, but as one that suffers with skin issues and constant cracked fingers, the ‘liquid skin’ in a bottle works best for me … It seals the cuts so they dont get worse, or infected and they heal. Takes the pain away too ..

…. Well done PG, the cafe looks (and sounds) great!!

…. I did my major hazeling last weekend, so today is just some touch up …. Hazel/bob can handle the floors, so nothing too stressful for me …. Counting down the hours now til Son arrives ๐Ÿ™‚

Can we get some TDK white light to Tucker the cat? He is recovering today from emergency surgery after ingesting tinsel. Tucker is a long hair orangie who we almost took in as a playmate for Leela, who is about the same age. We couldn’t because of our home reno and baby Leela was enough to handle at the time.
    Friend’s parents took him in.
Latest report is he is resting comfortably. ๐Ÿ™‚
Oh, and if we had been able to have him, we would have named him Frye, after another “Futurama” character!

Saying a prayer for Tucker’s recovery, Joan. Isn’t it funny how we feel a sort of bond with cats we consider adopting, but don’t. We’ve had a few, including Eko’s littermate, that I still think about and wonder how they are doing. When you’ve already named them in your head there’s a bond there. :).

Got everything I needed today within a mile from my house and for good prices…yay. Husband has unearthed some boxes in the garage including some cute egg nog cups I forgot about and some cat toys that we only take out occasionally. The cats are loving their long lost ball around the racetrack toy!

Trimmed the cats’ claws today then tossed some treats (just nuggets of dry food) in the air for them to chase, catch, etc… Leo caught one in his mouth! And Eko aka ninja paw is really good at catching with his paws.

Oh poor tucker ! Sending healing vibes his way.. !

Deb hope you feel better soon .. I know my friend uses silver solution to gargle in her mount when she has anything done by the dentist.. I remember seeing a man on Oprah show he drank silver solution for years and turned blue!! ๐Ÿ™‚

ECB glad you got the stocking fillers sorted .. It’s good to get the small stuff sorted ..

AV thanks or the tip with the silver solution and the cracked fingers my fingers always crack in the cold weather especially on my thumb and it’s so sore!

KZ I’d always choose family over hazeling ๐Ÿ™‚ the dust will still be there when your home ๐Ÿ™‚

MS sweet dreams ๐Ÿ™‚ hope our silly Shadz isn’t still watching the rain fall :p

I’m just relaxing now been so busy today. But I’m not back in till Tuesday and then off till the 6 th !! Woop woop I think I have all my shopping done.. And Mr B’s brother is coming home from Oz tomorrow .. I’m a bit stressed cause I’d tried to get him to book a direct bus from Dublin airport to Cork bus station as there are no longer any flights from Dublin to Cork
(so silly!!!) and he insisted a friend was collecting him from Dublin.. Now that’s fallen through ( I knew it would!) and we can’t contact him as he’s still in transit and the bus I wanted him to book is probably booked out at this stage ! Oh Mr B’s family couldn’t organise a p!ss up in a brewery ๐Ÿ™‚ well I’m staying out of it ! They were all asked what I would do .. Well I told them it’s not up to me he’s their brother .. I have to stop mothering them all !
