That painting is genuinely rendered by a kit JK? Must sign up Dorry for class, for sure anything he does will be infinitely better than my drawing/painting attempts, so not my forte LOL. Assume paints safe, hopefully washable, don’t want to have to give my self-cleaning kit a bath – one of us will likely not recover from experience, that one being me!

*strolls thru art gallery* beautiful art! I have heard of cats “paw paintings”. If I could get one of my duo to do it I would frame and hang them in my house for sure! Would make great gifts too!

Just got a gallery visit from non other than Dr. Seuss & he was a bit miffed. Left this comment:

But he did leave a generous gift as rendering of his fave version of The Cat in the Hat:

On way to Weekend Lounge stopped by art class. Art Instructor Kitty, Red has amazing patience! This is the sort of thing that was going on, although some of the girl kitties were quietly working on masterpieces for their purrents.

Guess that “Bachelor Party” is also a boys club only sorta thing? Louis Wain was the artist who to put it politely was “transfixed” with cats!

Now here’s a work for the Abstract Expressionist section:
Cat and Bird by Paul Klee (purrhaps only place cats/birds can be so close without endangering birdy is in the world of art). 😉

Sneaks into gallery while heading to café as Mon AM Treat!
Wow, busy weekend. Lots of works in progress plus some new additions. Happy we have all eras/style in our meager collection. Know we will have a bounty of works to fill all of the galleries. Oh, had a guest artist visiting on Sunday! He purrs too…but a bit louder of he is a tad larger than even our big boy orangie Red:
