This December nature delivers is set to be a great month for sky-gazers. A super moon will be visible. The moon becomes totally full at 10:47 a.m. EST (1547 GMT) on Sunday (Dec. 3). It will officially reach perigee less than 24 hours later on Monday (Dec. 4) at 3:45 a.m. EST (0845 GMT), when it is 222,135 miles (357,492 kilometers) away from Earth.

I can’t wait to see the moon full and bright. Yesterday was December 1st and the moon was almost full but it was really bright. Can’t wait to see it on December 3rd.

Can’t see the moon from my widow. 🙁 But I did notice on walk home from gym last Wed how enormous it was!

For us it will be Monday night.
I have a great deal trouble sleeping during full moons. I do a lot of wandering around the house instead of sleeping.
    Lyhoi kitten of werecat.
The Lykoi, also called the Werewolf cat, is a natural mutation from a domestic short-haired cat that has the appearance of a classic Hollywood werewolf, hence its name. The mutation has occurred in domestic cats over the last 20 years. Genetic testing done at UC Davis confirm that the cats do not carry the Sphynx/Devon gene.[1] The Lykoi breed was developed in Vonore, Tennessee. The word lykoi means “wolves” in Greek.[2]

Saw Supermoon or Yule moon last night on Dec. 2nd and boy was it big, bright and beautiful. The sky was strange though. What I mean is that around the moon it had the colors black, bluish, pinkish and other colors. It made for a nice frame. I hope I can see it tonight. Sorry you didn’t get to see it.

The moon has been beautiful the past few nights! Actually, I’ve been winking at it since it was a wee crescent. I have a crystal pendulum that gets “cleansed” every full moon from its spot at the eastern bedroom window.

I noticed the colors around the moon too. Last night some clouds moved in and reflected lots of blues, greens and pinks. So cool!

Yes it was cool and beautiful. Took pictures of the moon tonight on Dec.3rd. It was the closest to the earth. I got 3 different angles. I thought last night was the best night but maybe tonight was better-who knows?
