JerseyJoanModeratorThe “TDK” lounge is decorated for a party! Several big screen televisions are being set up. For today the agency kitties will check the wiring and sound and leave them off, although there is one on now in the kittens’ room where they are watching “The Aristocats”.
Tomorrow morning will feature groundhogs from all over, as we anxiously await to hear what they have to say about the weather.
Later the super bowl hype really kicks in. Besides the big game in New Jersey, some tv’s will be tuned in to Puppy Bowl and as well as Kitty Bowl.
For now, agency kitties are whipping up all of your favorite noms and bevvies.
Chef kitties await your custom order and hostess kitties will make sure you find the purrfect spot to hang out.
A fire burns in the big stone fireplace looking out at the snowy landscape, and ceiling fans guide a gentle breeze in from the patio overlooking the beach.

ParticipantMorning Joan! the Cafe looks lovely, all decorated for Super Bowl! ….. I’m planning my menu for tomorrow and shopping today, along with a little dusting/cleaning ….. pretty much chore day! …..
…. yesterday, the weather report was off by 10 degrees! ….. it was supposed to only be 20% chance of rain, but it had drizzled all day the previous day, and never stopped yesterday either! ….. temps were supposed to reach 69, but they never hit 59! …… I was completely shocked that they could be SO wrong!! Now they’re back to saying it will reach 80 today! ….. just don’t know if I can believe that :/

May have to watch the Bowl from the Café: we’re invited to a party but it’s a far way away and I woke up this morning to a pretty steady and visible snow: they say we might get 8-10″, in case, a seat by the fire with a kit on my lap and a virtual beer in hand might be a better plan! Hey PC, I might join you in watching the big game at the cafe – bigger TV sets here than at my place! No new snow here, actually having a bit of not as cold weather. TV & radio keep using words like mild and warm, but it’s still cold! The difference is that one can be outside for more than a minute or so without swearing!
Deb, hope you are able to get some good quality rest so you can kick the crud. I went in for a short time yesterday just to get one thing on track, then left, as I seem to have a bit of a cold myself. Had some pancakes for lunch as I was so hungry! Last night I made the batter and it has oatmeal, and brown sugar in it. Also put some blueberries on top while they were cooking, and ate them with butter and honey. (Don’t have any maple syrup left). Delicious, but a couple of the blueberries got stuck on my iron skillet and were not easy to get off again. Hummmm… I have enough batter for tomorrow as well. 🙂
I am still having back issues. 🙁 A friend from work did grocery shopping for me this morning. Now I am all stocked up again! 🙂
Did I ever share about my step-granddaughter spin brushing her cat’s teeth on Christmas morning when she was little? Too funny! Wonder what the cat thought! Maybe it felt good to him. Hey, Joan! Did you see that ADORABLE, fuzzy sliver of a moon before? Awwww…. too cute. I was laying out here watching TV and could see it through the window. Good thing I hadn’t shut the curtains yet! I LOVE that moon. Always wonder what it would be like to have more than one, like the other planets do. Wouldn’t that be interesting?

I love when Gavin lays close to me, under my chin and stretches out his arms/paws all the way out on my pillow, purring the whole time. Such a little love he is. As if to say, “Life can’t be any better…” Cozy, warm and safe he must feel. Awwww….. I really wonder how these kitties breath under all the blankets. I sure can’t.

I did remember to say “Rabbit, Rabbit” after midnight, although only Dorry was there to bear witness, so we’ll see LOL. Guess a lot of peeps are busy getting ready for Super Bowling. Not this one. Hoping that the agency kits will feature a screening of “Groundhog Day”, I could see that film again. Speaking of which, while I don’t know what our local famous groundhog, Wiarton Willie (just like Punxatawney Phil, but Canadian, will predict), the weather peeps guarantee more snow, freezing rain and back to relative cold temps after several wormer days. *sighs*

On Saturdays (Friday sundown through Saturday nightfall) it’s my Sabbath, so I’m in the Café only after. Day of rest – seriously, slept most of the day and hopefully this will not keep me from sleeping at night (which it often does LOL). And now I’m off to make myself a delish coffee bev and go-with as the agency kits seem to be still tooling around setting up the widescreen TV’s, so i don’t think that anyone will bring me anything. Oops spoke too soon, a teen kitty is bringing my coffee through the wormhole right now! L8R, if not tomorrow all.

ModeratorHi Littermates, the lounge looks great all set up for the Superbowl. LOL at the kittes in the kitten room, they’re all asleep after watching “The Aristocats”.
I hope the groundhog doesn’t see it’s shadow tomorrow, I think you have all had it with Winter.
AV, those are crazy temperature fluctuations. We are having a scorching day here although because of a sea breeze the readings won’t BB, your blueberry pancakes sound wonderful. LOL about the kitties tooth brushing experience.
