No, I certainly don’t want to offend anyone or mock anyone’s beliefs. It is interesting that the “happy hunting ground”, often used to mock Indigenous belief systems as a bit infantile, is actually based on the beliefs of a specific people or group of peoples.
I’d have a whole tribe of cats, mostly black, if we are actually reunited after the demise of humans and cats! I still miss every one of them, including a tiny girl who only lived a week (she had a fatal infectious disease, called distemper back then, and died before her vet appointment which I made when I adopted her from an individual….).
