Hi, I am Bella. I am only 14 but I found someone near me hoarding cats. I talked to him and he has been saying how embarrassed he is. He had just been taking in strays and they keep repopulating. The 10 he started out with soon turned into around 35 cats. Most are sick and dying. I offered to help him and not call the police. He agreed. Now I have a kitten named Max. He is around 4-5 weeks and is skin and bones, I have been taking care of him but am now finding him a forever home. I will continue to take more cats and save them. I am thinking about making a gofundme so people can help me pay. Thank you. Also if you have any suggestions please tell me.

Bella, I commend you for your compassion for these cats and this man. I think the best thing you can do to help this man would be to get him hooked up with a welfare league that can help you and him treat these animals with medication, spay/neuter, making sure they don’t repopulate and pass on any illnesses they may have. I am not a fan of gofundme pages because people can get into trouble taking money from others for special purposes.
