The type of feeding plan you choose will depend on many factors, such as the number of cats in your home, and the age and health status of your cats. There are 3 ways of feed your cats: meal feeding, free choice feeding and combination feeding. You and your furries will make up the plan but, mostly, your furries! ๐Ÿ˜‰ *I couldn’t find anything of interest for Sunday so I made this up.

We had a whole 24 hours of snow and it was the wet sloppy stuff. We had to make sure the trees didn’t break any branches. Miss Gaea is annoyed about it. *sigh*

Enjoy your Sunday and have a happy~

HRH Shadz is fed breakfast and dinner, both consisting of raw meat and kitten milk. If she gets hungry between meals she has cat biscuits to fill the gap or the option to go and catch a mouse. Tonight’s dinner for her was rabbit and beef steak, she picked the rabbit bits out and left the beef for later in the evening.
Finally she is beginning to put on weight, butterballing up for Winter. The heat of Summer(even the pitiful Summer we had) is becoming very tough on her as she ages.

Ha. I love your made up day, PG. It made me laugh as soon as I saw the title….because we all know that’s every day….every hour…lol. Great pics. I loved the panicked kitty behind the blinds trying to get help for his empty food bowl.

My cats have a similar schedule to HRH….fed a scheduled breakfast and dinner. They get a snack of a few “crunchies” (hard food) mid morning and a few right before my bedtime.

Our cats have spent the night together in the living space for two nights now and have done well. *knocks on wood*. I changed my evening routine a bit so that I have my lazy tv time out in the living room instead of my bed so I can be with them as they coast toward sleepy time. I try to wear them out with some playtime before that too…always something I’ve known they need, but gets neglected at times.

    Happy Sunday!

    Happy Sunday all!
My indoor crew does not know about breakfast, so other than Comet’s pre-dawn concerts, they are pretty quiet till we are up. They get unlimited crunchies and water, so they’re not starving! The outdoor bunch get breakfast and crunchies and fresh water daily. Of course, the new kid eats a few times a day.
I put a breakaway flea and tick collar on Dewey yesterday. It’s white and looks funny on a black cat. Found a tick on Huey this morning do I’ll try to get a collar on him as well.

    Hi all,

The kitten not sharing is too funny. “Not only no, but, NO.” ๐Ÿ˜€ Yes, the heat is hard on a mature girl. I never heard of a raw diet until the last 10 years so I never thought to give it to my kits. Humm….

What a busy day you had yesterday, ECB. The tired but satisfied feeling is so good. Your gang is finally (sorta) getting along (knocked on wood). The popular thought is you can pick them up and go. au contraire
Your extra attention will do all some good.

It stopped snowing but it’s the wet, heavy stuff and will take a few days to melt away.

    Enjoy your Sunday

LOVE the made up day PG…the pics are too funny! It’s humid today with the temps in the mid 80’s…and then dropping down to a cooler week. We had a lot of rain yesterday and before, so no field work for a while.

I forgot about the rhubarb, but now I have so much I’ll have to freeze it. I’m going to make a rhubarb/strawberry cobbler for later–vanilla bean ice cream sounds good to go with it, don’t you think? I’ll leave the wormhole open….. ๐Ÿ˜†

Seems your trio have reached somewhat of a truce, ECB. I hope your efforts continue to pay off.
Strawberry rhubarb cobbler sounds great! *sets plate by wormhole*
I’ve had somewhat a lazy Sunday. Started a project, but alas, it’s time to feed the baby!

Happy Sunday all! I’m going to share two of my favorite pictures with you guys:
The first is Miss Caddy on her new cat tree, which we installed on the porch …. I’ll have you know, I put it together all by myself!

    http://i597.photobucket.com/albums/tt51/AbbigaleViolet/Caddy%20on%20her%20tree.jpg

The second one is Hazel, my sucker fish …. I’ve never seen this before, but being in the cat fish family, her mouth is on the bottom ….. so she has apparently developed a taste for the flaked fish food that I feed my pond dwellers, so now every morning when I feed them, she comes up to the top, and swims on her back to skim the surface and eat ….. it is so cool to watch! …. she’s huge too, about 14″ …. she was only about 2″ when I put her in there (and she’s the only one) 9 years ago!

    How cool is that??!!!

Caddy’s tree is awesome, AV, and high paws to you for putting it together for her!
Hazel is cool – I guess she swims to her own beat!

So very cool is Hazel!! I know people who put chunks of watermelon, and circles of squash in the water for their sucker fish!! And your cat tree is the same one I got for my cats!!! How cool is that? Great minds….. ๐Ÿ˜†

PG, love the theme, but is it nonetheless not Sunday? LOL

At KJ’s “we” wake up way early efurryday as Dorry likes his brekkie at about 6:30 am. And lets me know it! When he finishes his wet food he gets his kibble, meaning at times I get to wait around. And on some days I get to go back to bed. His second meal is served when “reg” peeps eat dinner ie about 6-7 pm. Ya think I spoil him? Would I have it any other way?

AV Hazel is for sure an interesting fishie. Some peeps of my acquantaince tend to be suckers, but no fish LOL.

That cat tree is pawsome. No way that I could have assembled it without a team. Best not to let Dorry see it, ere he get ideas re my enhancing my place, or “his” place as it were. ๐Ÿ˜‰

No worries PG. So long as my PVRing schedule did not get confused. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m PVRing “The Handmaid’s Tale”. Remembering that when I saw the film version I was so stunned that I had to go for a walk after just to clear my head. Will have to see whether TV series lives up to this.

I’m going to watch ‘โ€œThe Handmaidโ€™s Tale” on Netflix. I wonder if I should check out the movie?

Embaressingly, I confess that I feed my girls many small meals a day ….. Abby has a sensitive tummy, so she gets a half can 4 times a day. Caddy doesn’t care for wet food, but has always fresh crunchies every morning that lasts the day, and two fresh bowls of water, one in her food shed, and one on her porch

Whatever works best for your kits, AV. Dorry gets wet food to make up for the fact that he doesn’t like to drink his water all that much. He must get that from me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

PG, I’m probably going to binge watch “Handmaid’s Tale.” I have about 3 series to go through. I liked the film, esp as it starred the late Natasha Richardson. Supposedly TV version differs somewhat, but the premise is engaging. Wondering how they can stretch the book into 10 hrs, guess we’ll see.

PG, what a great idea to make up a day for the Cafe.
ECB, so glad that things are settling down somewhat with the furkits sibling rivalry. Long may it continue and improve.
PG, that is interesting that you had never heard of a raw diet until the last 10 years. When I was growing up that was all that cats got for food and then canned cat food arrived, jellimeat and a lot of people changed their cats diets. Our cat got a mix of canned and raw, mainly the cheap cuts of beef. Brrrr snow.
We have been warned of a cold snap hitting here tonight with temps plunging downwards. ๐Ÿ™ We had a beautiful sunny day as long as we were in a sheltered spot as the wind was very nippy.
KZ, you grow rhubarb? I don’t think many here grow it. I have one pitiful plant growing underneath our balcony as I planted butterfly milkweed plants where I had intended to put a new rhubarb plant. Next Spring I will put it in. Sometimes I do sweet and sour rhubarb, stewed rhubarb and then add some gelatine and crushed pineapple. Eat cold. The other thing I do when stewing rhubarb is bring it to the boil then drain the water off and then add a small amount of Sprite lemon or 7Up for it to cook in. It means you add a lot less sugar.
Sneaking through the wormhole for a wee taster of strawberry rhubarb cobbler.
AV, congratulations on your excellent construction of Caddy’s cat tree. High paws ! Caddy looks so happy in it too. As for Hazel, you gotta do what you gotta do to get your favourite food.
KJ, the Saturday/Sunday thing is the reason for my first pic.
LOL, PG your Sunday pics are totally cute.
HRH will be a happy girl, daddy is home from work with another bunny for her. I will make sure I always keep some in the freezer in case she gets sick as a appetite tempter.
