Hi all, hope everyone is well. I’m new to TDK and new to kittens in general! We got archie three weeks ago so he’s coming up to 11 weeks now. He’s a gorgeous ragdoll cross. We thought he’d need a friend so brought home another ragdoll cross who is 7 weeks. I know normally they dont leave their mother until 8 weeks but unfortunately it was take her now or she’d be sent to a shelter! We’ve kept them seperate unless supervised but they just seem to jump on each other. Initially it looks like playing but it’s literally nonstop and leads to hissing! But if either one is eating, drinking or in the litter tray they’ll wait for each other and then it just kicks off again. We are really concerned because Archie doesn’t seem to want to eave her alone and seems to be less affectionate to us as well. Please help or advise as we arent sure if it’ll settle or if it’s fair on either kitten to keep them together if they aren’t getting along.

I posted this link for you because it has such good information on cats/kittens in general, and about slowing introducing your kittens to each other or other animals in your household. Boy kittens seem to be much more play aggressive, but you also don’t want him to make her timid and afraid. You may need to start over, but with kittens that shouldn’t be a problem.
