Welcome to TDK Leena. It’s real slow here on the weekends & you might not have to many responding because of it. Maybe if you continue to call the local shelters & tell them if they don’t take the kittens, they will most likely die from the elements of the weather & most likely, starvation if the mother has not returned to them.
I know it took some persistance on my part when I was in rescue for many yrs.to find people whowould give mine a second chance at life. Most of the cats I have now (8 inside-3 outside) are ones that became adult when I could find no permanant homes for them. Many people prefer kittens over adult cats when getting a new kitty. Is there any chance your folks would change their mind & at least let you care for them until a shelter has room for them? And are you sure the mother left them behind? Maybe she was scared by your presence & decided to come for them later when noone was around.
I wish I could help you or offer some suggestions other than calling back the rescues until they can find it in their hearts to take them from you. I wish you best of luck that there’s a happy ending for the little darlings.
I also was going to suggest that these neighbors are reported if they are allowing their pets to breed over & over. It’s unhealthy for the mother cats & can cause serious health & safety risks for the adult cats & kittens.
Prayers for you that a solution is found.
